A true professional. Alexa puts you right at ease with her easy bedside manner.
She saved my kids unnecessary extractions, pain and trauma.
Another dentist (look in my previous reviews) was adamant even inspite of Alexa’s explicit instructions to leave the teeth and take a wait and see approach.
Thank heaven for professionals that hold the Hippocratic oath sacred.

My son is about to complete a treatment plan for an underbite. His main concern was the jaw alignment and Dr Herbertson had presented two possible plans at the outset. He was 12 when we started 18 months ago and she made him buy into the decision — we were leaning to retainer only and he was going to have to be compliant. While she gave two options, there was no pressure to go for the full on braces & retainer route and we felt confident we were making the right, not just the less expensive, choice. He has had a great outcome and we feel like she was available, encouraging and very personable. The office is easy to get to. When we had to squeeze in an adjustment or fix, it was easy to see her.

I was recommended to Alexa Herbertson. She is absolutely fabulous! She is experienced and really seems to know her stuff inside and out. She has a real gentle touch and knows how to make things as painless as possible.
PROS:
–Experienced orthodontist
–Extremely honest in all things, not pushy for the sake of earning an extra buck (one of her employees commented that was a reason why she enjoyed working there was because of her honesty)
–Gentle hands, knows how to make it as painless as possible
–keeps tabs on your brushing and flossing with incentives for good brushing. If you score a «B» or higher for good brushing, you get entered into that month’s draw for a free pair of movie passes.
–unlimited supply of travel toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, wax for the taking in the bathroom! Yah!
–nice office/​décor, has video games for kids while they’re waiting.
CONS:
–none that I can really think of. I suspect her rates may be slightly higher than others (after all, she runs a very nice office)…but best to price compare yourself.
