Ladies washroom in food court has total of 9 stalls(1 wheelchair/stroller), 5 sinks, 2 paper towel dispensers and 1 hand dryer. I’ve been here more than 10 times now and in various time. But their paper towel dispenser never has any papers and do you know what’s this mean? This means that if there are more than 1 person who washes hands are present, we all have to fight for that 1 hand dryer! It’s not even a good hand dryer so it takes time to dry! I find that annoying. Other part of the centre? I don’t know! I’ve only used their washroom lol

FOODCOURTREVIEW: Don’t bring children to the food court. Don’t come and sit to eat your lunch. They only welcome PAYING customers. Management was snobby, unwelcoming and rude. When the new food court first opened, no one went there. Now, they have a HIGH standard — if you aren’t a Westender, you’re not welcome! As the management put it: «You’re kind is not welcome!» If you look like a homeless bum from the DTES, they’ll try to kick out and off CITYSTREETS. On a bright side, the security guard(the black guy) was welcoming and very friendly. He went out of his way to provide quality service. Good for him.

It is what it is. I am not sure what kind of review I can post about this…

Hey, it’s Harbour Centre! Not only is this a major tourist attraction for out-of-towners(admission: I’ve never been to the Top of Vancouver restaurant or the lookout) but it’s also the site of SFU’s downtown campus. I spend a lot of time at Harbour Centre, because I have been nearly successful in my attempt to complete my undergraduate degree without going to Burnaby Mountain at all. Best things about Harbour Centre: — the excellent washroom on the second floor with giant windows and a full-length mirror, great for self-portraits between classes — Bali Thai in the food court — best value food for lunch and it’s delicious! — the window on the main floor framing the North Shore and the port — beautiful — the loads of excellent lectures, seminars, and other things that happen there all the time — SFUNOW program that allows working adults to take conveniently scheduled classes downtown — free conference catering whenever you can snatch it

Harbour Centre is the epitome of Canadian spelling — I love it! There are lots of stores and services aimed at office workers, tourists, and students. It’s an interesting diversity of visitors what with the SFU campus, the tourist-popular revolving restaurant, plus corporate office tenants. The liquor store is handy and if you’re in the mood for browsing knick knacks you will not be disappointed. The security person here is helpful and can point you in the right direction to what you’re seeking in the mall area. The layout is a bit cryptic, so I encourage you to ask or risk getting lost!
