History

Established in 2011.

Guitar With Jamie was formed in Vancouver in 2011 by Jamie Kutaj. He has been teaching guitar lessons since 2007, and has been playing the guitar since 2001. Jamie holds a Diploma in Contemporary Music & Technology with a Major in Audio Production (Live & Studio Audio Engineering) from Selkirk College in Nelson, BC.

Business Owner

Jamie Kutaj is in his 2^nd Decade as a Performing Musician, Audio Engineer, and Guitar Teacher. He was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. Once his parents realized he was undeniably passionate towards music, they surprised him with a guitar on his 17^th birthday in 2002. Prior to that time, he had been «borrowing» his father’s guitars. In April of 2010, Jamie completed the 2-​year Diploma program in Contemporary Music & Technology with a major in Music Production. He then moved to Vancouver, BC to pursue new experiences and an evolved career in the scene that the famous Canadian hotspot has to offer. Jamie has been teaching at Strathcona Community Centre since 2010 and started teaching under the company name «Guitar With Jamie» in 2011.
