I went here after an unsuccessful visit to LensCrafters where I had my glasses made twice and both times were terrible. The people at Galaxy were amazing and helped me to diagnose the issue that I was having(low clarity lenses). They gave me a great price(way lower than LensCrafters) and I felt really well taken care of. I would and have recommended this place to anyone looking for a pair of glasses. Even though it’s a little shop they also have excellent selection and had the exact same frames I had ordered previously.

4 stars for knowing and explaining the differences between conventional lenses versus digital, kinda impressed, her delivery could’ve been more polished. She went from $ 250 pair of lenses to $ 450, a lot more than the original quote of 50 bucks. Corner spot inside the mall. They do accept Amex amazingly. The usual brands, even Tiffany is a bonus. All frames half off. No optometrist on site.

I had a prescription for eye glasses filled at Galaxy Eyewear. After the glasses were made and I tried them on I could not see clearly with them. I mentioned this to Miranda, the sales associate at the optical shop. Miranda replied that there would be an adjustment period and to give myself some time to get used to the new glasses. After a couple of weeks, I still could not see clearly with my new glasses. I telephoned Miranda to let her know. Miranda stated that the glasses were made according to the prescription and suggested I contact my ophthalmologist to see if there was an issue with the prescription. I scheduled an appointment with my ophthalmologist, who updated the prescription to increase the strength. He advised that the new lenses would be covered by the guarantee indicated on the prescription. I returned to Galaxy Eyewear and discussed with Miranda that I had visited my ophthalmologist and had an updated prescription. I requested that my glasses be fixed to reflect the new prescription. Miranda responded that I must bear the cost of the new lenses. I mentioned to Miranda that the original prescription states that a guarantee is included; therefore, new lenses due to a change to the prescription, is covered by the optical shop. Miranda stated that Galaxy Eyewear did not purchase any insurance to cover replacement lenses due to prescription changes. I’ve filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Customer service: A+ Prices: A+ Since we are in the area every weekend, we stopped by this eyeglass store years ago and now we are frequent customers here. We have recommended at least 7 people and they all loved their experience. My mom recommended of her friends who had eye problems for two years. She went to a specialist who said not much could be done. After she came to galaxy eyewear, they fitted her with the proper lenses and now she can see again. Forever grateful. Super friendly and we always get a good deal. I won’t go anywhere else!

Great service from the two sisters that own Galaxy Eyewear; they replaced the lenses in my frames twice when it turned out the prescription I had gotten from Costco wasn’t exactly right. And it was so quick, I barely had time to shop around the mall while I waited. We’ve also gotten some good deals on high end sunglasses :)

This is on the floor level of Tinseltown. I’d thought it was called Galaxy Eyewear but I guess I was wrong. There’s usually a 40−50% sale sign at the front but that’s because things are marked up. The marked up sticker is what you would pay at Eyes on Robson and those high end stores that NEVER give discounts. I don’t really trust their prescription lenses because my friends and I have experienced dizziness(I know new glasses usually have that new transitional dizziness) and when I’ve checked with professionals, it seems that the center point isn’t accurate. Anyways, I’ve gotten multiple sunglasses though. They have great selection of frames and the hours are great.
