Franklin English Language College (FELC) is a private post-​secondary college registered with the Province of British Columbia, Canada. FELC has distinguished itself as a leading ESL school specializing in preparing students for SAT, TOEFL, IELTS, CAEL, LPI, and LET.

We have three campuses in Vancouver, Richmond and Guangzhou.

History

Established in 2003.

Franklin English College was established in 2003, later another campus was opened in Richmond and in 2010 school got expanded to China, Guangzhou, Guangdong province.

During this time more than 3000 students chose Franklin English College, and we have gained a reputation for providing top quality English language courses for groups and individuals.

Frank M.

Business Owner

Frank Miao is a Canadian-​Chinese linguist specializing in language cognition and communication and senior lecturer in Sun Yat-​sen University, where he taught from 1990 to 2003. He is the founder of the Franklin English Language Colleges for which he combined his years of hands-​on ESL experience with his in-​depth knowledge of modern linguistics and applied linguistics as well as other educational theories to create a complete learning system.

Frank Miao is an experienced educator and researcher in educational assessment. He was a Senior Visiting Scholar at Portsmouth University in the UK, and program planner of TOEFL education at Ying Hao School, a renowned private school in China. The foremost TOEFL (Internet Based Test) researcher in China, Mr. Miao is well recognized for his achievement in this field. He has published widely on teaching theories and methodologies, TOEFL iBT, ESL, SAT and SSAT instruction materials.
