History

Established in 2011.

We’re bringing back the best of what recording and music production studios used to be in Vancouver, without the preservatives, and we’re focusing in on new ideas and ways to work and create for today’s most forward-​looking artists and producers. There are 6 of us with too much gear, a lot of skill and many great ideas. Most importantly, we’re collectively defining a new way of running a studio, and what a studio should be for anyone who needs one.

Being different than other studios defines us. We’re a full service and full scale facility, from pre-​production and recording to mixing and mastering. We have enough room for an orchestra or just enough for a voice-​over. Such variety is not restricted to our spaces and services. There are 6 of us and more than 5 workspaces, each with different gear, different sounds and different styles, yet we manage to bring it all together under one roof. This is what Fader Mountain Sound is about. This is why we call it a mountain.
