Elton H.

Business Owner

Elton Hubner is an award-​winning multimedia journalist with an M.A. in Media Studies from the Technical University (TU) of Berlin.

Inspired by CBC’s pioneer videojournalist Sasa Petricic, Elton wrote the thesis Sasa Petricic: A Decade of Videojournalism (2011) and started a new career producing videos in Vancouver later that year.

Before that, he wrote and photographed for newspapers, blogs, magazines and the German international broadcaster DW (former Deutsche Welle).

Elton’s passion for the craft of storytelling was discovered in his early teens. By the age of 20, he had travelled to 25 countries and learned six languages.

In his work, Elton uses the international experience and journalistic skills to capture the best moment in his photos and to create human-​oriented videos with strong storytelling.
