Walked in with no appointment and it worked out as they accepted me right away. I wanted a pedicure (as at May 2015 they have a special on pedicures for $ 24.99). It was my first time trying this salon and also my first time trying gel on my toes and I like how they turned out! I also wanted my nails to be gel. They quoted me $ 10 for gel colour application only (no manicure which I dislike getting my cuticles cut because they bleed easily anyway) so I went for it. It took maybe 70 minutes to get both the pedi and mani but at least they do not rush the process and cleaned up the nails to ensure it doesn’t spill into the cuticles (which for gel is important as it will ensure the gel lasts longer). I would go back if I was in the area maybe, the reason being that one of the two ladies who was working on me had dirty nails which was a bit off-​putting because I have never seen a manicurist with black dirt in all her nails: O …

I’ve only been for eyebrow threading, but the lady at Excelsior does the best job IMO– threading of course is always somewhat painful but she’s the least painful threader I have ever been to. Its inexpensive, well done, the salon is clean and the staff, although usually just one person, are super sweet and nice. I saw a lady getting a manicure done there, and it looked great as well– give it a try if you are in the area.
