Evolve Nurturing Vitality

What a miserable experience we had. On someone else’s recommendation my pregnant wife came to see Dr. Chamberlain. My wife has been in unbearable pain leading her to be needing assistance even to walk, so we ended up being 5 (literally, five) minutes late for our appointment. We were treated very rudely with by the receptionist, who scolded my wife. She was talking over us and told her to reschedule. There was no cutting the appointment 5 minutes shorter. There was not even an attempt at understanding the situation.
Dr. Chamberlain was already apprised of the situation before we arrived, through e-​mail and conversations with our other doctor. We asked the receptionist to simply check with the doctor. Without asking the doctor at all, she flatly told us, «No. I’ve already talked to the doctor.» My wife, at the time in so much pain was asking to even have a short appointment to help get a bit of relief. The receptionist’s cold and curt reply was, «No. We have procedures.»
The reception area was packed. We could tell this was a popular place to go. But if you’re looking to be treated respectfully by people who are treat you like a human being, I would suggest looking elsewhere. For a place naming itself «Evolve Nurturing Vitality,» they are very unaccommodating. I was absolutely appalled when I saw this kind of arrogance coming from a place claiming to perform holistic healing. I guess they’re nurturing enough money from other clients.

I resisted seeing a chiropractor for years, despite over 15 years of back problems. Then, just before Christmas, I stepped over my dog, resulting in one of my worst acute flareups ever. It’s always something harmless, isn’t it? I finally relented when I was referred to Gisele, who came highly recommended (also, her clinic is limping distance from my apartment).
I must say, about 2 months into treatment, and I am a convert. Much as the first reviewer stated, Gisele doesn’t push anything, and is a joy to deal with. Highly professional person. The clinic is also clean and well maintained. I used to sell dental products, so I am acutely aware when clinics of any kind are lacking in this department.
Can’t believe I didn’t do this sooner!

I was looking for a good chiropractor in town after having lived abroad for over 2 years. A trusted friend of mine HIGHLY recommended Dr. Giselle Chamberlain to me and it has just been an amazing experience! My first impression of her was that she is a very caring and personable individual, and this impression has grown in positive ways throughout my first appointment with her. We had a loooong talk about the issues that I came in to work on. She really listened to me: took notes, asked all the right questions to get more details, smiled (very important) and didn’t interrupt when I kept remembering various details that I thought would be helpful in her diagnosis. I felt comfortable enough mentioning my fears and concerns about neck adjustments. Dr. Chamberlain listened to me thoroughly and did not pressure me at all into anything I didn’t want to do. She respected my role as a patient in the treatments, giving me options that had assuaged my fears, and gained more of my trust by the minute.
I was surprised that she didn’t even ask for x-​rays (thus saving me an extra amount of cash that I don’t have)! She only used acute observation that supplemented our chat, to quickly see what was going wrong in my body and that lead her towards decisions about what techniques she would use to help straighten me out (literally!!!).
She does not push an inordinate number of appointments, nor does she push any kind of sales pitch other than what she thinks will help you for your own healing. She is a genuine, sensitive and caring chiropractor. I definitely feel safe in her care.
