I have been going to this place for more than 2 years now. I am a loyal customer by myself, but 20 min ago, I have been fooled to pay more for manicure than it is usually is. I respect the owner but I don’t like being fooled. I paid the amount and left the salon without saying a word, but I doubt I will return again. Moreover, 2 weeks ago I got my shellac manicure from them and the quality of the nail polish was so bad that it started cracking the next day.

They recently changed their name from Esthetico to Milady in hopes of getting better reviews on Unilocal… the owner told me herself. Unfortunately the service is still awful. The prices change all the time and you have no idea what you are going to be paying, the ladies speak to each other very loudly in Vietnamese making for a less than spa experience and the service is basic at best. You have to stand your ground and say«no» when they want to take a power sander to your nails and they always over book… wait 10 minutes means wait 30 minutes. Just walk across the street or 2 blocks in any direction and you will find a better salon.

This place is now called Milady. They booked appointments for my friends and I and we still had to wait about 10 mins. One friend was going to get the relaxation massage, but the room and bed were so awful she opted out. I was booked for a foot and leg massage, they set me up in a chair and I waited 30 mins before anyone even acknowledged that I was still just sitting here waiting for the foot massage. They are unprofessional, not personable, and overall I would hope that nobody would waste their time giving money to them for overpriced service for the experienced received.

This spa has recently changed names/ownership to Milady Spa. I’ve been going to Esthetico for years and loved the service. Today, I went in and explained in detail what I wanted. In the end, the«esthetician» did exactly the opposite and now I have to go elsewhere to get it fixed.

I called to confirm the price twice before booking my appointment. Two different people answered and both gave me the same price … I’ve been here a few times before but I wanted more than a basic mani pedi however I’m on a budget… I get there and get my nails done then when I go to pay, they jack up the price !!! I’m was super disappointed as I go there quite abit … And now I won’t ever again … I would have tipped more than what they over charged me but it’s principal … They say a price, you budget then when u get there it’s hiked… And you have no choice but to pay … Well that extra was going to be your tip now you get no tip, a bad review and a lost customer When I complained — they made excuses and were very rude… They didn’t even care when I said they lost a customer .His exact words were whatever — no tip now

Never heard of this place before, but after checking another place on Davie that was packed wall to wall — we wanted some place quiet & that didn’t have a huge wait. My GF called and asked if they could see us right away, and they said yes. We arrived and were the only ones there. This is on a sunny beautiful spring Friday — so it was totally perfect. Now, this place isn’t super fancy, and when I asked for some water, I was given a cup of warm tap water. Whatever — I was there for a pedicure — not for cocktails. The chairs are big, comfy and new. The girls were nice enough, but not too chatty which I love ! I wanted to gossip with my friend — not make small talk with staff. We each picked out our gel /shellac polish and they began. The girl I had Lisa really paid attention to detail. The pedicure was really good. She asked how long I wanted my toe nails and used two different scrapers to get all the dead skin off. She did a nice massage(longer then ones I have had as of late) She then applied the 2 shades on my toes as per my request. They turned out great. It didn’t take too long, and the cost 40 $ including tax was about 20 $ less then I was expecting to pay. I went in with low expectations and was very pleasantly surprised !

We went there with my friend to wax her eyebrows. During the procedure the ‘beautician’, I think her name was Cindy, was quite pushy in promoting herself as being a super-professional manicurist and even a hairdresser. She did the eyebrows quite well and offered us to pay in cash to avoid some extra charges(?!). But the worst started the next day, when my roommate woke up with a rash all around her eyebrows. I do not know if Ms. Cindy didn’t wash her hands or the tools, but is has been almost a week now, and the rash is still there. To sum up — avoid this place if you care about your face.

Ask for Lisa , She always do my eyebrows Her work is clear, clean and fast And it’s only for 8 $ I do mani/pedi there too, and her work is good as well, The salons only problem is their bad decoration, however, for there great prices i wouldn’t be picky with the salons look

I am never going back to plucking my own eyebrows. I went in to get my eyebrows and upper lip threaded for the first time on a whim. All I did was pop by, she sat me down, warned me it would hurt and just went at. She asked several times how I was doing but to be honest, I don’t know why people say it hurts so much. But she said I must be very tough. Uh… Thanks? I had a feeling that she was actually just snapping off the hairs rather than pulling them out. In about 3 – 5 days, I realized that I was right. It all grew back and I was back to housing caterpillars above my brows. :(

Okay we all know that there are numerous places to get a mani pedi in this city. Thought I don’t like to give away my spots if you are looking for a cheap and cheerful LASTING mani pedi this is the spot. Everything is super please. The girls do a great job. Ask for Tweety she’s the boss and does not mess around with the massage. A cup of green tea, some bath salts, and a mani that actually lasts over a week. Can’t get much better and all for $ 35 you’d have to be nuts not to try.

Don’t bother wasting your $ coming into this place. You can receive the taxes off, if you pay with cash instead of Credit or Debit though. I had a manicure and pedicure here. All they did was rub my arms and feet, do a little bit of filing and a paint job thats it. Not very thorough with the cuticles, and their techniques are unhygenic. I dare you to ask them where they went to school to learn esthetics and hair, they will change the subject, act dumb, and pretend that they can’t understand you with thier bad english skills. When people who have no education give you a mancure or pedicure, you risk contracting bacterial, fungal, and viral infections. You have a choice;)
