Not honest in service, several times I tried with this place, they openly under count the numbers of bottles & cans & juice boxes return in front of you. I confronted the staff & tell them they do not count correctly for the right money back for returns, they gave themselves excuses & hesitant to give back the right money, even I’ve shown them the bottles were counted & recorded on paper. Another mom with kids besides me also said the same thing that they openly miss counted & cheated on bottle returns. I definitely will not go to this place for bottle returns. Bad business!

Convenient location in South Van, if Superstore isn’t your fancy.
What’s great is they accept paint drop offs, no charge.
Does close a tad too early, 5:30pm daily.

I love this place for the fact we are RECYCLING !! YEAH
Cans, bottles old TV s, computers, paint cans. And much much more !!
And leave with a few bucks in your jeans.!!
Great location, they try their best to keep it clean and friendly.
With a donation box outside for clothes, toys, and non-breakable housewares.
Forward thinking that benefits everyone

Two words: Electronics Recycling.
I’ve brought old VHS tapes, old car stereo (because we upgraded to one with an auxillary jack), dead printers, random cords and chargers, dead cameras, and various other electronic components.
I double-checked the Encorp website to see what they would accept. Some of the locations accept small and big appliances, some won’t accept cell phones or batteries.

All I can say is Dirty and disorganized. Not my favorite way to make a buck. A slow buck at that. Do the employees even talk, they could be so much more helpful if they wanted to but its a tough job to have.

I’m not one to come with big cartfuls of containers, so I appreciated that I could go straight up to the counter. They’re sectioned off so that around 10 people can unload their wares at the same time, then the staff come help people as they see who’s done setting up. I didn’t have to wait too long. He confirmed with me that they don’t pay for (soy) milk containers, which I knew, so that was fine.
The electronics recycling is at the right of the entrance.

To start, this place is pretty disgusting. The floors are noticeably sticky as are all the trays. The biggest issue I have about this place is that there is very little interaction with the people working there. It was kind of sketchy when the guy took my tray of recyclables and dumped them in bag. I have no idea how he remembered how many of each different type of bottle/can there was, because it didn’t even look like he counted anything. IMO he just guessed. I would drive an extra 20 minutes than go here again.
