I’m getting married in 4 months and wanted to find a spa which specifically does body treatments. I found this place on Unilocal,and figured I’d try out a facial before committing to treatments around my wedding date. Well, I’m glad I tested it out first. I agree with other reviewers that say the space is nice and very clean. However I am mystified as to why others have used terms like «gentle» and «relaxing». I got microdermabrasion with an organic facial. While I understand that microdermabrasion is not going to feel «nice» (I’ve had it before and it’s been fine), I was shocked at how aggressive and jerky her movements were on my face. Once that part was done, and the so-​called facial started, it got even more aggressive. It seemed as if she was working against a clock, and all her movements were fast and jerky. The massage others have described as a nice bonus, was so rough and fast, I couldn’t wait for it to stop. And at least three times she moved the table around the room in a quick, jerky motion, one time so fast I swear I felt a bit dizzy. I was so confused the whole time, wondering why the experience was so rough, and how it could be so different than all the reviews I read.
Afterwards Elena asked how I felt, whether I was relaxed. To which I responded, «not really, that was more aggressive than I expected». She explained it away, saying she has «strong hands» and that I should’ve said something, but honestly I felt so uncomfortable I thought it best to just say nothing and pray that it was over soon. And she WAS rushing, because she started 15 minutes late and still ended on the hour (it was supposed to be an hour treatment). But I didn’t mind — I was just happy to get out of there sooner rather than later. I basically felt like I paid her $ 100 to smack me around.
All that said though, my skin did look smoother and brighter after the treatment. So I’ll at least give her that. Needless to say though, I won’t be going back.

If anyone is looking for a wonderful full body massage and a body exfoliation, this is the treatment you must try! Your body will feel relaxed and smooth, you’ll be in for a treat. Combine this with a facial and you are set!

I went to her for a hydrafacial and a laser photofacial. She’s very knowledgable and caring about your skin needs. She tailors the laser to your skin’s sensitivity. The hydrafacial literally sucked out a huge pimple I had and left it smooth. She ices your skin before each «shot» of laser, which is the only uncomfortable part.
I bought her Repair Moisturizer ($ 60). I love it and it smells great! It’s all natural and super moisturizing for my dry skin. I put it on every night and morning. It may be too greasy for some people but it creates a nice healthy glow, especially under makeup.

I found this place on Unilocal and I’m glad I trusted the reviews. I’ve been going there for a few months now for microdermabrasion, and the result is evident. Elena is always on time and courteous. The spa is clean and her beds are comfortable. I would highly recommend to anyone who’d like to give non-​invasive facial treatments a try.

I have been seeing Elena for a couple years for laser hair removal. She is very professional and knowledgeable. She adjusts the power of the laser for sensitive areas to ensure your skin’s safety. I am extremely satisfied with her services.

Elena is very knowledgeable about skincare and her products are excellent. My skin feels so good after one of her MicroDermabrasion treatments, which includes lots of exfoliating and moisturizing lotions, as well as body and scalp massage. It’s such a luxurious treatment! I will be returning on a regular basis.

i have come to elena a few times now for microdermabrasion and goodness, do i feel amazing and fresh and clear afterwards! she makes all her own organic products and to be wrapped and layered with such constant deliciousness on my face is the absolute of luxury! i won’t put stuff on my skin that i’m not willing to eat and i truly think i could eat elena’s products! I have bought her skin scrub and creams before and though pricey (for me), nothing else compares and they have excellent coverage so they last longer than the cheaper subpar kind of stuff!
elena is gentle and kind and friendly and undoubtedly very knowledgable and passionate about skin care! i hope i can get in to see her again soon!

Elena runs her business in a tiny room located inside JSpa on 4^th. It’s not super fancy, but she does a great job and is super nice.
I’ve gone to see her 4 or 5 times now for some laser hair removal. She iced my legs before applying the laser, so I didn’t feel a thing (except for the cold ice). My hair is pretty much all gone now and I’m so excited that I won’t be having to shave my legs again!
Elena also makes an organic skin care line that smells divine. She misted some rose toner on me once, and it calmed me down and put me in such a good mood for the rest of the afternoon.
The room is clean, Elena is friendly and efficient. This place is great.
