I liked it. Enough to go back for sure. I ordered the chicken hoisen wrap. The bread was for sure the highlight, although the rest was quality too. I have to admit, that although I enjoyed the hoisen wrap, I secretly wish I had ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap once I saw other people getting it. Good value at $ 7 – 8CAD. Couple that run the food truck are friendly.

Everytime I come downtown, I look for this joint. I hate how its a food truck and it closes so early and only opens during specific times. The hoisin chicken wrap is AMAZING. The fried rice with chicken is AMAZING. You have to come here. Unfortunately it is across from a Chipotles, which is amazing in itself and good value. but if you want some of the tastiest food in Vancouver. You have to come try the wraps here. Guarantee you will love it. If you don’t, you just don’t have real tastebuds. Please open up a restaurant or shop somewhere. in the tri-cities haha.

I didn’t really know about Eat! Chicken Wraps until I read about them on Unilocal.Though I’m sure I walked past it at least a few times, I didn’t notice it, and when I did it was for the wrong reasons. Like others here I find their signage to be a turnoff. For that reason I didn’t patronize them until I had read a number of glowing reviews. I’ve had lunch here twice in the last few weeks. Both times I’ve liked but not loved their Al Pastor wrap. On the first occasion the first few bites were HOLYCOWGOOD! But after that, the enthusiasm died down. There’s a good mix of flavours and fresh ingredients but it is not spicy at all. They were both tasty if a bit lacking in cilantro and pineapple — two of my favourite things. Presentation is good — extra marks for the wrapping job which ensures it is not messy at all. The ordering process is pretty straightforward. Make your way to the front of the truck, choose from about five different kinds of wraps, a taco or a rice box and pay for your food. They also have beef/veggie hotdogs and fries, though I’ve never seen anyone order these. They do not take your name with your order, which makes it a bit more challenging to figure out when your food is ready. There’s a cute tip-jar dog that eats from his bowl when you leave a tip. The most glaring problem for me is the wait. I made a point not to visit at the peak of their lunch rush. Despite that, on the first visit, I waited about twenty minutes, and on the second about fifteen. That’s comparable to a lot of the sit-down restaurants I frequent for weekday lunches. The difference is that at the latter I can relax and unwind, but at the former there’s a lot of foot and vehicle traffic, so it’s not as calm. The most amusing thing in the area is the lineup at Chipotle across the street which often goes well out their door — not all that entertaining! If you’re okay with waiting this long at a food truck — kudos, and know that these wraps are worth the wait. If like me you’re dying to get back to work ;)…this may not be the best choice for you. The price is good — especially for a food truck. Most of them in the city charge at a minimum $ 10 for a plate of food that is not nearly as substantial as these chicken wraps. I often wonder what the value proposition is when the food trucks cost the same or more than a proper restaurant. I thought the whole point was that since they’re avoiding the overhead of running an actual restaurant, they would pass on the savings. Not so most of the time, but Eat! Chicken Wraps is the exception to the rule.

I spent a little too long wandering the streets of downtown on my lunch break and needed a quick food fix that I could eat on the way back to my office. I spotted this food truck and was impressed with their prices — most of their wraps are only $ 7! Staff were friendly enough and seemed pretty busy with a few other people in line waiting for their wraps. I decided on the chicken Ceasar wrap. I loved the presentation! I was impressed with how big it was and was happy to see fresh parmesan on it. Honestly, the chicken was slightly overcooked and I didn’t taste any honey mustard sauce, but it was still really tasty and filling! I didn’t finish it by the time I made it back to the office so I had the rest as a late afternoon snack. Would try it again.

Amazing… Absolutely delicious! I just had this for lunch and I’m in a happy daze at the moment. Just the right amount of sweet/spice. Can get a bit messy so grab lots of napkins & enjoy :) Although I agree with people re: marketing of the truck(not very appealing). I haven’t tried this truck for probably 2 years until someone recommended it. Definitely going back here.

You know, I don’t even really like chicken but I was able to sample their Hoisin Chicken Wrap at the food cart fest, and it was awesome! Juicy chicken, crunchy veg, tangy hoisin, and a crispy Chinese pancake. YUM. Honestly, if I had seen this truck on the street I would have been turned off by the cartoon chicken on the side and never bothered to try it but I’m really glad I did. If I see this truck around I will definitely stop to eat here again.

Note to the proprietor — change the branding! Get rid of the cartoon chicken, lettuce and tomato wrapped in a tortilla. YOUAREBETTERTHANTHAT! I was SO surprised by this truck! I dont know how often I passed by it thinking that it was going to be a plain old american roasted chicken wrap with mayo or something. But when I did try it — what i got was a crispy asian pancake with beautifully seasoned chicken and great flavours. So good! I spoke to others and they have the same original opinion of the place. I bet if they spent a little on rebranding they could be one of the most popular trucks in town with lines down the block.

Decent food truck usually parked @ Robson square serving not too pricey chicken wraps. Eat Chicken Wraps… Seems it was named by Captain Obvious. They serve some interesting kinda wraps. The buffalo chicken wrap is spicy deep fried pieces of chicken wrapped in a tortilla while the Hoisin wrap is grilled chicken salad served in a crispy Chinese pancake. I have to be honest, its not mind blowing(not saying its bad) but what do you expect if you are paying $ 7 for a wrap. For the price and the quantity, I’d say its a pretty good deal. They also have a rice box which is grilled chicken, salad, fried egg and fried onions on a bed of rice. For those who are into low carb shit, they can substitute the rice for salad. Yes there is a lineup as it is one of the popular food trucks but the staff is friendly. And they take visa Food: Good Service: Friendly Ambiance: @#$%#% Worth the price: Yup

I wouldn’t have tried them out if not for Unilocal.See this truck in front of the law courts all the time but their cartoony look threw me off. I tried the Hoisin Chicken Wrap. The flavors reminded me of Peking Duck wraps in Shanghainese restaurants, except it’s chicken instead of duck, someone’s wrapped it up for you, and its wwaaaayyy bigger. It even has that crunchy texture provided by the lettuce and some crispier chunks of chicken. The Chinese pancake used to wrap everything up was perfectly done with a light crisp. Now that I’ve tried them, I’m really glad I did. Now I have a new go-to place for a quick, cheap($ 7-$ 8), tasty lunch Downtown if I’m craving something Asian.

Haven’t loved a food truck this much since I was in Portland! Other than the Rice Box and the Buffalo Chicken Wrap(which I think are 8.50), everything is a flat 7.00! The wraps themselves aren’t that bad in size either(around 5.5−6 inches I think) and are VERY tasty. Had the Hoisin Chicken Roll and it was delicious. Kind of reminded me of a Taiwanese Beef Roll, albeit with Chicken instead(which itself reminded me of Shawarma pieces). Operators are both very friendly too, which is a bonus. They must be super popular as there was a film crew there today taping their preparation methods and them serving customers. Liked how they taped moist towelettes to each of the boxes so when you’re done eating, you can clean your hands nicely without having to make a trip to the washroom.

Admittedly I was hesitant to try this place because the truck didn’t look very appealing. However, it’s usually the closest food truck to my night class. I’m glad I tried it. I’ve been coming back for a quick pre-class dinner ever since. I’m a big fan of the Buffalo Chicken Wrap. The chicken is crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. It’s nicely seasoned. And I love the crunchy cheese crisp they include as well. The Hoisin Chicken Wrap is also very good. The Chicken al Pastor wrap is ok but I wouldn’t get it again.

Wowwwww… this place is the bomb! Although they only accept cash and credit card, it’s still very worth it. The long line up and long wait time is very worth it once you try their chicken wraps! We ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wrap and wow it’s super delicious! I can eat it every day! I’m not even kidding! It’s fresh, tender juicy chicken with crunchy outside texture wrapped in hot tortilla. It has lettuce, tomatoes, crispy fried jalapeños and some really tasty sauces. The portion is huge. Very cheap! Very yummy chicken wrap. We will definitely come back! Can’t wait to try their Hoisin Chicken Wraps and their Rice Box.

Finally goto to try this place! Ordered the hoisin chicken roll. Chicken was seasoned well all the way through, lettuce and cabbage were fresh and crunchy and oh man, the roti type wrap was buttery, crispy, delicious! It got a little salty halfway through, perhaps because of the hoisin sauce but was an awesome regardless! Definitely going back to try the other wraps! On a side note: thought the lady who took my order could have been a little nicer :(she was so chirpy to the girl after me, would have been nice to get the same treatment!

I really liked this food truck! The prices are crazy good — almost everything is $ 7! Sure, it looks a little cartoonish-greasy-kebab from the outside but the photos on the side are very appetising and had me ready to eat! As soon as I stepped up to order the lovely staff gave me a big smile and asked what I’d like. I ordered the chicken al pastor wrap, as I was really missing Mexican food, and didn’t feel like tacos. It only took a few minutes to make, and was very nicely handed to me with the foil covered paper wrapping open at the top for easy access, and neatly put inside a small paper bag wrapped in napkins. Really the best thing about food trucks is getting to eat outside on sunny days and we took full advantage of this! I grabbed a small container and filled it with hot sauce, then went to meet my friend who was getting a grilled cheese. The women behind the counter immediately clocked my wrap and gushed about how much they love the food from Eat Chicken Wraps! I was super surprised at their lack of competitiveness(I felt kind of guilty standing there NOT with a grilled cheese) but they all stated their favourite kind of wrap and then began arguing their case for why their choice was the most delicious! I loved it. The wrap was huge — I ended up saving half of it for later. It was packed with fresh, crunchy lettuce on a wholewheat wrap, and you could really taste the cilantro which I loved. The pineapple added a great sweetness, and the chicken was a good mix of light and dark meat. The banana peppers were a nice touch(although not spicy enough for my dragon mouth!) It was a little over-mayoed for my taste, but that’s just personal preference. I wanted it to have a little more Mexican flavour, as I found I needed to add hot sauce to take it closer to where I wanted it to be — but luckily they had lots of types of hot sauce to choose from! This is definitely somewhere I want to come back — I was in a bit of a funk today from lack of sleep, and I want to come back when I can appreciate it! Not to mention that I need to try the hoisin chicken wrap(the pancake looks divine!) And I can’t wait to update my review when I do — I know it’ll bump up the star rating!

I had been wanting to check out this food truck for awhile but thought they only operated on weekdays! We were walking down Robson St Saturday afternoon when I spotted this truck and I dragged my BF across the street to it. We shared a hoisin chicken wrap. It was soooo good. Tender and moist chicken, sweet hoisin sauce, fresh lettuce, crispy and flakey green onion pancake — TOOGOOD.

After spending 30 minutes around the corner waiting for a wrap from the shawarma truck I decide to give up and request my money back. I walked around the corner to find the truck of chicken goooooodness. Had the hoisin chicken wrap. All I can say is YUMMMMM. It was so good I went back at the end of the day to get another. The Chinese pancake us crispy but not greasy. And the chicken is seasoned to perfection. Add fresh greens, and there u have it. Spectacular. The staff are friendly and courteous and service is quick too. One of the best trucks out there. A must

It’s fresh. The customer service is so-so. Feel’s like order and go. Now. The chicken wrap was good. The chicken lettuce wrap too. The food cart seem(in-out) a little bit dirty to me… When they leave their spot at the end of the day the sidewalk got these huge stains… I wonder if their compressor is not too old or something… As I notice they other food cart doesn’t leave stain like this when they leave. I love our city. That’s why I care about lil things like this. Might or might not come back.
