Dynamic Shine

I would recommend these guys without question. I was given a gift voucher from my car dealership because the time would have been too long for their complimentary wash with service. I called Dynamic Shine on my way driving by and they said they were too busy and it would be best to book an appointment. A week later and I had to make a stop at the mall so phoned 20 minutes before hand and asked if they could fit me in. The lady was very polite and said if they could fit me in when I got there they would or I could book an appointment. When I got there a car had arrived just before me and I was told it would be a few hours to get to my car. I was a bit frustrated though it was understandable as there were 5 cars being washed while I was there. Seeing my frustration, the lady asked me to wait a moment and then came back and asked if I could give them 1.25 hours to have it complete. I had an errand to do in the mall so agreed. I came back at the agreed time and there were 3 guys busy at work cleaning my car. I was asked to give them 10 more minutes. I came back and my car was clean and ready to go. I am extremely happy with the job they did interior and exterior and would definitely go back. I am used to going to a different spot downtown where I live, though for a few dollars more this seemed to be a much more thorough job and better value.
I have trouble understanding why other reviewers would give a 1 star rating because the business was too busy to take on a car immediately or panels were missed or soap stains. All problems that could be remedied given the chance or by booking an appointment. It doesn’t seem like those reviewers even gave Dynamic Shine a chance to correct the problem. Real customer service is how a company resolves situations when services do not meet expectations. Without having the problem brought to their attention, it’s impossible to rectify the situation. It’s important to remember that this is a service based business. If it was dentist or doctor one wouldn’t expect to be treated as soon as they arrived. If they were unhappy with the doctor or dentist, I would hope they would give them a chance to rectify the problem before giving a poor rating.
I did meet the new owner and he seems to be doing a great job and making sure the customer is being taken care of despite the legacy left behind by the old owner.

New owner just took over a week ago. Much more professional and his crew did an excellent cleaning job! Definitely recommend this place again.

The worst costumer service ever !! When they offer you their promotion where u get free carwashes don’t buy it. I bought 8 washes comes with 2 free washes in December 2014 it’s now sept 2015 and ive only used 2 !!! Because now that they have taken my money it seemed that they had put me in a list where u need to make an appointment to come and get a wash but I never ever plan to come to the mall I always come random times. I’ use to come and get a wash every other week and never needed an appointment every since I bought the vouchers it seemed that these guys lost interest in serving me I’ve tried atleast 7 times to come and all I get is did u make an appointment ?? What happen to no appointments necessary? It’s complete bs and a waste of my time and money. Now dynamic wash if you are understaffed like u guys always say !! What is the most logical solution ?? HIRE MORE PEOPLE!!! If u don’t don’t fix your service I will open and car wash business at Oakridge mall and make sure u guys loose business you don’t deserve to be in business at this point !! And il make sure every one gets the service they deserve.

New owners
This place used to be fantastic. Car enthusiast running the place that shows passion and care. However. They have since left and and new owners took over the place. Entire panels missed. Soap stains. Missing change. The whole gamut of poor service is on full display here. Rates are still very expensive. I’d rather park car in the rain and let that rinse some dirt off while I shop than to have people here wash it. Outcome will be the same. Only difference is you spent that $ 50 on yourself at the mall.

Went there yesterday (Thursday) at around 3:30. They told me that they only had three people working there and couldn’t take me because they were too busy. I only wanted a basic exterior/​interior wash. I guess I’ll never be going there again.
I then checked out Unilocal again for the next closest car wash and went there. They did a great job

A little more expensive than most and didnt ask if i wanted mats and tires cleaned then tried to surprise me with bill — just a bit of a con i would say — better places to go in town — i recommend the one in oakridge mall down in parking lot

I took my husbands car there to see if they could get a scratch out. The man said for $ 50.00 more he could do it. $ 50.00 more than what, I asked. Ok $ 20.00 more he replied. More than what I asked again. More than the price of a complete detail. I don’t need a complete detail. Then he said he couldn’t get the scratch out. So what was he charging me for? I left.
This was the second time I had been there — the first was with a Groupon that they would not fully honor.
Untrustworthy at best. I would not recommend this place.

this is the WORST car wash i’ve ever had.
I got the bronze package.
the guys didn’t even vacuum the back of my car or wiped the seats AT ALL. I don’t even know they did anything at all except for vacuuming the front driver’s seat. I am extremely disappointed. I could have done this myself at a gas station with a $ 2 vacuum and did a better job at it.

Gave these guys a fairly dirty used large car for interior detailing of mainly carpet and seats.
Hours had already been spent steam cleaning but more work needed to be done. They did a great job but make sure you give them enough time for a well soiled car. If you’re not satisfied, they let you bring your car back for touch up on stubborn spots. Remember, if fabric is wet it may look good but wait for everything to dry and re-​evaluate because that’s when stubborn stains show through.
These guys did a good job!
Update:
Day after I checked the car in sunlight and it needed a bit of touch up here and there. I brought it back and they continued with the cleaning which made a big improvement.

One of the best car washes in Vancouver, definitely a hidden gem. I’ve been to and tried many, nothing compares to the quality Dynamic Shine provides.
The employees are nice, and unlike other places, they listen to customer requests!
The thing that got me was how clean my rims looked. After years of brake dust buildup, I was told they were impossible to clean and that I needed to replace all four rims if I ever wanted that fresh look so I wasn’t expecting much. To my surprise, when I got my car back, they looked brand spankin’ new and I had to convince myself they were the same rims I had on before.
Bottom line: Give this place a try, you have nothing to lose and you’ll definitely be impressed.

Great hand car wash place at a convenient location.
I have been coming here for the past year and it has always been a pleasant experience. Services are consistently great and I can hangout at the mall while my car is washed.

I’ve been a few times. Most memorably with my 1964 Ford Galaxie. The paint was faded, the chrome was tired and the wheels were dirty. I dropped it off for an hour, wandered the mall and came back. Not only were there people snapping pics of my car, I snapped pics too. I almost didn’t recognize my car. They did a really amazing job. Inside and out, the car looked show-​ready. I’d recommend these people to anybody. It literally is THE BEST WASH IN VANCOUVER. Hand wash, hand dry, amazing… I’ll never go anywhere else.
