Came here for some bubble tea. Parking is available on the side streets, but is no longer free in the lot across the street. Evil city people. There is a small seating area by the front door, but the main area is up a few steps. Something to keep in mind if this is a potential issue. The interior is clean, with squeaky vinyl chairs in funky colours. I’m not sure what theme they were going for, but at least it wasn’t tacky. Their fruit juice selection is quite limited — you’re probably looking at powder or syrup. My strawberry tasted half-decent.

The first thing that you notice when you walk in is that this place does not fit with the décor of the hood or the stores of the demographic. Wondering what happened with the left over PVC from Sin City/Santuary…apparently they decided to use this as part of their décor. Kudos for them trying to be trendy with the décor and dark ambiance to appeal to the youngsters, however, it comes across as dated. Their hours of operation seem unclear and the lady across the counter didn’t feel like clarifying. The place is cash only which is fine ’cause it is one of the cheapest places to get Bubble Tea. I got bubble tea which was okay, however, wouldn’t bank on their other food.

Currently closed for«summer holiday» and that may not be a bad thing. Pearls in taro milk tea were not cooked thoroughly resulting in the worst bubble tea ever. Complained about it but was given another cup with the same awfully prepared pearls. Soup in medicinal chicken hotpot has a funny taste to it and was crudely prepared as well. Avoid! Time and money much better spent at BBT Café just down a few blocks.

They have a summer 1.99 drink special that doesn’t apply to any milk teas. Every new bbt place I go I try the milk tea with pudding. Their milk tea was actually really good. The pudding however was a tiny amount and not that tasty. I’ll get a drink with pearls next time since they seem to be proud of their pearls. Also still need to try the food. would be nice if they put their operating hours up on Unilocal too.
