I love going in this place because they have trains running on tracks hung from the ceiling. The prices are high and sometimes not necessarily the freshest. Recently, I decided to buy some Chanterelles while they were in season. They were somewhat dry, and the price was $ 30/pound. I found some Chanterelles in Granville Island today. They were fresher and moist, and the price was $ 18.99/pound. Needless to say, next time I shall be more careful when shopping at Choices.

Choices is a great locally owned business that has an excellent variety of produce, groceries, natural and organic products. The staff are all helpful and friendly here and the quality of the products they offer are all top notch. In particular I like their cheese selection! They often have good deals, and I’d much prefer to shop here than Whole Foods. Support local businesses where you can, as local businesses support the local economy and community.

This choices is slightly bigger than the one on 16th and slightly less busy as well. Consistent with its quality organic produce and slightly cheaper than whole foods if you buy what’s on special for the week. For the price conscious shopper, I notice choices has amazing deals on coconut water and almond milk, which they often carry in bulk, while other products are slightly pricier. If you’re looking for a quick bite to eat, the salmon quiche is delicious!
