History

Established in 2013.

Capelli Salon opened it’s doors in 2013 at the iconic salon space in the beautiful Arthur Erikson designed building we inhabit. This global architect is well known for his dramatic use of space and light in his designs. We get inspired with 12 foot ceilings, filled with south west facing natural light exposure highlighting our quality work. Our founder and Artistic Director, David leads and educates our team of talented hair stylists, bringing over 20 years of experience as one of Vancouver’s most talented hairstylists. Capelli Salon strives to bring outstanding service to our loyal clients in an friendly, professional and inspiring environment.

Business Owner

David started his hair career in Vancouver in 1990, and trained professionally with Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy and Jacques Dessanje NY, and most recently with advanced training with Loreal Professional and global partners La Biosthetique. David’s is known for his precision haircuts for women and men. He has a fine eye for colour placement, in his ombré, balayage, and highlight techniques. David is well versed in hair straightening services, perms, extensions and ends the services with a great blow dry.
