Upsetting. I went in thinking blenz has the best hot chocolate but I’ll try something else today. Before ordering I asked the if they were able to make the matcha latte with soy. The girl says yes — of course. I replied — ok, I’ll have that. She pushes the order in and asks me what size — I say regular. She then as she grabs a mug she asks if I wanted my receipt and I said yes please. She did not give me an receipt. I interrupted her to say if I could make it an ice latte. As I watch her grab a plastic cup, I think my order went from regular to a small. I hold my tongue. She then starts to make the order and I watch her pour milk into it. She puts the order out and I said — matcha latte iced. And I said — with Soy? She then says I never said I wanted it with soy. She then grabs a new cup and asks if there are any other changes I would like before she makes me a new one. I should have I should have told her all the things she did wrong and I want it sweet! but I didn’t! I don’t even know what I paid for! Cause I never got a receipt! So angry!

Been here twice during our week long stay in the city and will likely go again. The evening guy was very friendly, and remembered how we liked our latte after the first night. Desserts are pretty good as well. Nice seating for a quick relax if needed.

This one is stocked with snacks including some gluten free pastry options. The only downfall with this location is that when you ask for modifications to your drink or any general information about the drink(I have specific dietary and taste preferences) they act like deer in headlights. I swear that I am not asking anything too complicated, however, I have a right to know what is in my drink. They stop carring Stevia as a sweetener alternative. I had to lend my spare packet to the lady behind me in line who was also on the same dietary plan.

We thought the place looked nice and it wasn’t(insert popular Seattle coffee monopoly here) so we tried it out on our weekend trip to Vancouver. Ordered two iced white chocolate and caramel lattes(16+20 oz) and 2 breakfast yogurts. We got the drinks and my girlfriend noticed it looked like milk. Sure enough there was no coffee in either drink. It was milk, ice, white chocolate chips and caramel sauce. I brought both back up to the counter and told the Batista about the problem. With a very puzzled look, he said«I didn’t know you wanted espresso in them». Now, maybe its just a Canadian thing to specify if you want espresso shots but I would believe if you’re in a coffee shop it would be a given that you want coffee in your drink. So, they then charged us $ 5 for 2 shots added to each drink. Grand total = over $ 25 for two iced coffees and two small yogurts. I definitely will not be back.

This is a great place to grab a creamy hot chocolate, made with real white, dark, or milk chocolate. Because it is a chain store, it’s fairly regular in terms of coffees and treats. They do have some nice teas. There are lots of boutique coffee places in this area, however, and I would recommend you try those places first.

I have started coming to this location of Blenz in my quest to finding a coffee/tea location in the area that offers nice comfy chairs and wifi. When I have come in at lunch time this location hasn’t been too busy and I have gotten a seat every time. Perhaps that will change once the grey weather appears and it is chillier outside but it is still worth a shot to be able to sit down and chill on your lunch break all the while enjoying a nice hot beverage. I enjoy how much care that put into making their tea lattes. It takes more time but wow are they ever good! I quite enjoy the Royal Tea Latte… yum!

Solid consistent baked goods and good coffee here. It always seems to be the same two young guys behind the counter when I come in. One of them tries to remember by order but since I usually change it, it doesn’t do him much good. I appreciate that he tries though. The iced mochas are pretty good, if a bit too sweet. I always head here if I am in the mood for an ice cream like mocha. The café itself is cute and usually quiet.

This one’s a dandy – less riff raff than the Granville or Hastings. Not much parking here unless you park at the Whole Foods/London Drugs parkade, but it’s usually the office/medical people around the area.

Recently enjoyed a Moonlight Green Tea here. There is bar seats at the window to look out and tables toward the back for groups of two or more. There are only two comfy oversized seats in the store. Service was friendly.

Wish we had a Blenz in California!!! Whenever we’re in town, we always order the largest size mochas. They use good-quality, rich, dark chocolate; it’s like a meal. Quick friendly service, and although I’m equal-opportunity when it comes to coffee, it’s a welcome reprieve from Starbuck’s and Peet’s.

I love that this Blenz opens till 12am. There are times when I am off work and I just want to grab a hot drink to tide me over on my way home, they certainly do the trick. Grab myself a caramel macchiato each time, sprinkle some chocolate powder on top and I am set. Nice staff, quick service! Hooray!

This is one of the much nicer, newer Blenz stores. Darker wood, much more cozy than the almost McDonald’s-like typical Blenz(including one just a block away to the West). This store is apparently converting to 24 hours on Feb 1st(not sure if just for the Olympics like some of their other stores or that move is permanent). Only downside is that sitting at the front windows(or first table), you tend to get the brunt of the A/C unit when it comes on, that can be pretty chilly in the summer.
