I am an interior designer that primarily works in the Tricity areas. However I have several clients in the downtown area. I have always found the staff at this location extremely helpful with any of my clients that I have sent in there. They also honour pricing that i get at other locations. I have no hesitation in continuing to send my downtown clients to this locattion for product and advice.

Gomer Pyle works here. Yes, one of the more useless dudes sounds and looks like him. Completely unhelpful. You know they don’t want to help when every answer is ‘it depends’ rather than explaining in detail and helping you choose. Unfortunately this franchise is part of the same ownership. Stay clear of the Gomer at this location and the skinny Chinese girl at the Dunbar location if you want friendly helpful service. I don’t find the prices too rich, but I do expect the better service you’d find if you visited an American location.

I am a professional painter and only use Benjamin Moore paints. I am in the Broadway Decorating store 3 or 4 times a week. The staff there are super friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful. Colour matching is often mind blowing. The in house designers are definitely a great help to anyone who wants a well co-​ordinated living space.
I agree with shain r. as a professional the ability to phone in orders is a super feature for us.

I recently needed to buy black chalkboard paint, yes black paint that dries as chalkboard so you can draw on it after etc. and only they had it for only $ 14 for a gallon. Wow! The selection is incredible. They have an in-​house colour coding space and lots of staff to help. They’re also open early which is convenient. What else? They have tape, rollers, brushes, drop sheets and free parking in the back.

I deal with this location a lot for work and I always like coming here. For mainly two reasons, I can phone my orders in and have them ready for pick up whenever, and two they open at 7 am in the morning, so if I am in need of paint even at this unnatural hour (and it has) then Benjamin Moore is there for me. I understand that they also have an in house design service that is there to answer any and every design question you can throw at them. They also have a full selection of types of paint, brushes, rollers, tape, and drop sheets. One of my favourite things is the convenient parking located in the rear and is perfect for a pick up and run occasion, no meters or traffic to deal with!
