Bought a couple of placemats here(which I loved) so recently went back for 2 more. As there were none in stock, someone promised to check and telephone me. Because of other reviews concerning poor service, I had a sneaking suspicion no one would call. And no one did. When I phoned just now and explained why I was calling, the person who answered the phone said she was«new to this conversation» and therefore had to put me on hold. When she came back, she said the placemats were no longer available. Not impressed by the unprofessional and indifferent service. I expect better in a high-end store. Will not be back.

I must agree with the other reviewers… there is something about the salespeople at Bacci’s which does not make for a pleasing shopping experience. As far as I can see, the salespeople don’t have sales skills. They are haughty and slightly antagonistic to anything I would say. I wanted a particular item and the sales girl wrote down my particulars in some jumbled up book with zero organization and said she would contact me when the item came. I knew from the way this book was a chaotic mess that my information would get lost. So fast forward a few seasons later and I went to the store to see what they had. Lo and behold, the item of interest was hanging on the rack and I had received no phone call. I will take my business elsewhere. When Nordstroms and Saks come to Vancouver, this place will be done.

They used to have some very nice products but the mix has become more generic and the service remains patronizing and unfriendly so it’s no longer recommended. A smile and a hello can go a long way!

The buyer of this store has an incredible eye and a very well edited collection of clothes. The home wares are heavy with bohemian aesthetic but from well known European companies. The customer service year after year is so poor it just does not make for a pleasure able experience. I could happily buy each seasons pieces but the care and help to make my selections just isn’t there. On the rare occasions I have someone to assist me I really didn’t feel confident I will leave there with outfits that would shine. And I’m 5’9 size 4

Beautiful clothes but horrible service. The lady that was helping me was using her phone and not paying any attention to the customers. For a boutique style store I expected excellent customer service. I am very disappointed, I would recomend going to Boboli the store beside it.

I was in Bacci’s today to buy a set of 6 mugs that I saw a couple weeks ago. There were 3 employees all hunched, elbows on the counter, reading the Straight and gossiping. No one could even say Hello. I HATE when you have to interrupt people just to get them to acknowledge that you might have a question; just go home if you can’t be bothered! When I saw the cups a couple weeks ago I asked where they made, made mention that I was looking for coffee cups not made in China(the dirtiest country on earth with zero regulation around good manufacturing procedures.). I was told they were made in the USA. Today I asked again and was told they were made in Britain. The different information made me do a quick google search on my phone and — Make International’s manufacturing is in China! Took seconds to find out. It’s right on their ‘About Us’ homepage. Seems the Bacci’s staff are trained to say whatever you’d like to hear, even when it involves someone’s health concerns, just to make a sale. Of course, you’ll have to interrupt the gossip to make a purchase.

This is a lovely shop full of high end and very attractive items for your home. They carry such things as beautifully embroidered and very colourful throw cushions, colourful and flirtatious dishes and serving ware, gorgeous and woolly throws and some nice body care products as well. Everything here tends to be rather high end and expensive, but it’s still nice to come in, browse and gain inspiration. And, even if you aren’t spending a penny, the people who work here seem quite friendly.

Bacci’s carries an interestingly eclectic stock. Ranging from high-end designer wear to household ware and cosmetic basics, Bacci’s is really selling a lifestyle. a lifestyle that, sadly, comes with a hefty price tag. This said, everything is beautiful. They say that the beauty is in the details, and that is very apparent here. Whether it be in the added intricacy of hand-embroidered pillows or hand-crafted ceramics, it’s all lovely and, well, beautiful.

An interesting mix of goods in this store. Everything from linens, dishes, face cream, lotions, and potions. Nothing really that exciting to this Unilocaler. BUT let me tell you I am far more interested in the reason why they have a bulls eye painted on the side of their store. Evidently a few years back a car lost control and slammed into the side of Bacci’s, thankfully everyone was ok. Not only 1 week later someone else lost control of their car and slammed into Bacci’s in the exact same spot. so when life gives you lemons. you make lemonade, and in their case they embraced this fact and painted a bulls eye on the side of their building. now you know the rest of the story.
