They moved an 100 year-old upright piano for me today and did a great job. It’s 52“x28“x56″ and heavier than most. They took extra care to make sure nothing gets damaged and that the piano doesn’t get bumped or jostled. They sent 3 movers for the job as the piano had to go down 9 steps from the 2nd floor and the lead mover clearly knows what he is doing. When the piano arrived at its new home, they made sure to lift it into the designated spot instead of rolling it into place in order to prevent any damage to our hardwood floor. Price is extremely reasonable. English isn’t their first language but we didn’t find any issues with communication. We had sent an email confirming all details as we would with any contractors and everything went smoothly. I would definitely use them again.

So I am moving in a week from now. Last week I decided to start hunting for moving services, sadly most of the companies in Vancouver were booked as it is for the last weekend of the month. Then I find this B & Y Moving. The guy who picked up the phone could barely speak English, it took us a while to get the facts together cause he couldn’t communicate properly but finally we did, regardless he was all over the place but at this point I need to help so I decided to move forward. A couple of minutes ago I received a phone call from them, this time a lady with worst English saying, «You cancel, no service, manager says you moving to far so no service». I said hey it’s only POCO, and I am paying for the time it takes, you can’t do this to me, we had an agreement. She said«my manager says it’s to far, sorry, bye». WHAT A JOKECOMPANY. Don’t take your chances, avoid this guys.
