Action Care Carpet & Furnace Cleaning

Do not use this company! I bought a Groupon for duct cleaning from Action for $ 69. We had the furnace serviced prior to the duct cleaning and a new thermostat installed. Everything was working fine prior to Tony showing up. I watched him take the cover off the furnace and remove the screen by the filter, there was a wire that he pulled. He then told me that the Groupon covered only duct cleaning and that I needed to have him clean the furnace as well and that would be $ 169. I know that groupons are usually for a core service and often they want you to add additional services, but we did not need anything. Luckily my husband was home, because I was not comfortable with dealing with Tony. My husband told him that we did not need any services other than the duct cleaning.
When he left the freshly painted walls were chipped around the vents. He was very quick, and we question if he even cleaned the vents in the basement. And our thermostat did not work, gives an error message.
When I called him regarding this, he told me I was lying and hung up on me.
I looked at his online reviews about carpet cleaning and thought he would be okay, not great. How difficult can it be to clean ducts. I should have checked Better Business Bureau because their is a complaint about him there that he has not responded to. When I told him I was going to report him to the BBB, he said he didn’t care.
So not only do I have to get someone in to fix our furnace, I have to call another company to clean my ducts again because I have no idea if he completed the job.

I used a groupon for this company and had about 600 sq. ft carpet cleaned in my house. My husband dealt with the company and was not impressed. He said the guy was unprofessional looking, had an attitude, and was done in only 45 minutes. He didn’t want to move the furniture (one couch), so my husband had to do it. All in all, I won’t use this company again. I could have gotten the same results myself in my carpets and get the whole house done in the same price.
