We have worked at BC’s largest, BC’s most sophisticated and one of BC’s highest profile sites. Namely, BC Place, UBC’s Triumf. ca (largest laboratory for particle and nuclear physics) and Science World.

We service the Lower Mainland with pride and craftsmanship, as well as, specialized out of town projects upon request.

Owner Operator, Mitchell Jay, is a Master Electrician and Stone and Tile Mason. «I am a very creative and artistic person that enjoys not only the sciences, but the Arts as well. Spending my time on custom Stone and Tile Masonry projects is a passion of mine.»

History

Established in 1991.

I started of in the trades in 1991. I have traveled and worked in 5 Countries with it, and have learned the common working practices from seasoned tradesman in all of those countries. A wealth of knowledge from around the world of which I have been exposed to.

I noticed a void in the residential and commercial construction industry. When 2 or more trade would work on the same project, and the end result was not up to standards or simply did not work, finger pointing took place and the home or business owner was left holding the dirty bag. I decided to get both trades under my belt, so my company alone would be responsible. Responsible for the look, fit, and finish; as well as the complete functioning of the flow, design and lay out.

My name is Mitchell, nice to meet you. I am the owner of Aard​vark​-Con​tract​ing​.com I am a Master Stone Tile Mason /​Setter, Licensed, Bonded and Insured Master Electrician and work on (1 and 3 phase electrical systems) with unlimited amps.

My business has focused on custom residential tiling and electrical jobs with a flare for style. Being the only Stone and Tile Mason with an Electrical Ticket that I have ever heard of or met, permits me to do what others cannot. From handcrafted heated shower pans, to in shower fogless mirrors and towel warmers. I seek out the most exclusive custom artistic jobs in the Lower Mainland. Stone and Glass Mosaic’s are my preference, I love them. My tiling saw is hand built in Italy, is lazer guided and can cut stone tiles over 1m on angle. Pushing 40″ on angle not just a straight rip.

Ever since I received my Red Seal Electricians Ticket, I have enjoyed doing every type of electrical job available. Call with your dreams and make them a reality!
