Great service and location for grocery store and UPS drop off
as usual i received all my packages from there and i see the guy who working there is very friendly and helpful, often i use the ITM machine, there is a lot of items and i buy my daily needed
Really i am satisfied from that store

I gave this store 5 stars for a few reasons. I live in L.A. but half the year I’m in Vancouver on business so this store has become my go-​to location for everything. I found it for the first time when I had to have some documents sent over from my office in Los Angeles. I called to confirm my envelope had arrived and I went to pick up. The man behind the counter, who turns out was the owner, wasn’t rude but he wasn’t overly nice either. He gave me my package and I started asking questions and purchasing a few snacks and drinks to take back to my hotel with me. Once I struck up a conversation, he was really nice and even gave me a few new restaurants to check out. After that it has been my go-​to spot every time. Besides the fact that I send and receive UPS packages a few times a week, our office is in L.A. and our clients are in Vancouver, he is also open late most nights so if I end up working late and everywhere is closed, which is the case for Vancouver, I just go grab some food and snacks from this place and I’m set. He’s also open late which helps with the package pick up because I get stuck in late meetings sometimes.
One time, I was waiting for documents our client needed to sign but they were late arriving. So I gave the guy my # and told him to call me as soon as he received it because I had to take the clients out to dinner. He called me around 8pm, needless to say we were on our first course. He waited for me until 1am to pick up the package because I had explained how important it was and we were on a deadline. I think the whole UPS issue is worldwide. I have argued with many UPS perssonel in Los Angeles and they explained that they are liable if someone else takes the package since they are the responsible ones releasing it to the 3^rd party. So I guess he’s just trying to watch his back and I kind of can’t really blame him. I haven’t had that problem because I pick up my own packages from there but regardless I have had that problem with UPS and Fed-​Ex in L.A. they all have the same policy same address on the I.D. or not unless it’s your name you’re not getting it.
Anyways, I love this place and I plan on visiting it when I’m back there in two weeks. It’s convenient, closes late and if you’re nice I’m sure the owner would be nice to you as well.

Had the please sure visiting Vancouver for a couple of days and came upon this Grocery store. Didn’t think that I was going to find everything I was looking for but I sure did! The guy behind the register who I later found out is the owner was extremely professional and helpful to us. He greeted us as soon as we walked in and helped me find everything I needed in no time. Prices were reasonable not expensive at all. Not only was he kind but he also gave us information on none touristic places to check out which was very helpful! I definitely recommend this Convenience store to anyone whose in the area. Thanks to him we’ll definitely visit beautiful Vancouver again!!!

I don’t typically go out of my way to write a negative review, but this store is special and absolutely merits a case.
Like millions of UPS customers, both my wife and I work for 90% of the company’s delivery hours, and very frequently end up picking up our package the next day at our convenience. My wife is also active in our community and frequently volunteers– meaning she often works seven days a week. Recently, a package was shipped to us in her name, and I was the only one who would be able to pick it up. She signed the back of the pickup tag, wrote a note saying I would be picking it up on her behalf, and I was on my way. In most cases, the package is Canadapost, FedEx, or if UPS is on hold at the Denman location. It has never been a problem. That is, until I had the misfortune to have my package arrive at the 2000 grocery store.
Immediately upon my entry into the store, the first thing I noticed was how dirty, cluttered, and unkempt it was. Looking past that, I walked to the counter with the pickup notice, and called to his attention that the package will have my wife’s name on it, but we have the same address and she has authorized me to pick it up per UPS policy. The man behind the counter gruffly told me that my wife would have to come into the store to pick it up herself– not an option, as we needed this particular package this evening, and she would not be able to come to the location before the hold period expired and the package would be returned to sender.
In the ensuing exchange, I showed him my identifications which shared an address, pointed out the letter from my wife releasing the package to me, and informed him that he was being inconsistent with UPS’s official policies. He then called me a liar, said my wife and I could be separated, said I could have forged the letter and her signature, and that he did not care what policies I had read– he had particular marching orders from head office that he would follow to the T. As an alternative to bringing my wife, he suggested I bring a BC Hydro Bill with both our names on it– which made virtually no sense, as our most recent bill predates the ship date of the package, so I would think his «your wife probably left you» logic would apply more firmly in that case.
Quickly realizing the absurdity of the situation, I asked him for UPS’s phone number, and then he shifted from rude to profane. «I’m not your ****** Google. Google it. Go. Now. Get the **** out of my store.» I couldn’t believe my ears at this point. I insisted that he give me UPS’s phone number, and eventually he threw my pickup slip back at me and told me to find it on there. He then unleashed a verbal tirade on me about how I’m in the «1% of stupid people» who don’t realize that he is «just doing his job» and then declared he wouldn’t give me my package even if UPS instructed him to, because he didn’t like me. Nice guy.
Eventually, my refusal to leave his store without the package paid off, as he suggested my wife text me photos of her IDs. She sent them to me, and I left with my package after he made a few more crass remarks about my intelligence, and insisted I was part of the unreasonable few who didn’t understand how rules work.
Bottom line, this man is temperamental, rude, and irrational, and not fit to run a business where he interacts with other humans. UPS should seriously reconsider using him as a franchisee. In the future, I am likely to select other courier services to eliminate the chance that I will need to interact with him again and avoid stretching 2 minute errands into 30 minute ordeals.

I usually pick up our family’s UPS packages from their Denman location and have never had an issue. Recently, our packages have been routed to this convenience store and today I have asked UPS to send all our packages to the Denman location from hereon in.
The first time I went into the store, the front desk guy, whom I believe is the owner, confiscated my ID card and took it into the back room «to find the package»… I’m not used to having my ID taken from me and followed him as I had some serious concerns about identity theft. He wasn’t happy about this and told me I had to stay outside and made some sarcastic remarks that he wasn’t going to steal my identity. I got the package and left.
Today, I had to pick up a package for my husband — we have the same last name and address on my driver’s license. Despite this, the same gentleman refused to give me the package and said my husband would have to pick it up himself. I explained to him that I routinely pick up my husband’s mail and have never had an issue with UPS, FED EX or Canada Post. He responded that he could not be held accountable as I could be «his roommate» for all he knows. So I called UPS in front of him and was told that a government issued ID and pick up slip should be sufficient yet the owner still refused to surrender my package.
I filed a complaint with UPS after this incident and was promised a return call by 2pm today. It’s now 6pm so I will be asking UPS to return my $ 20 package back to Amazon since they’re going to charge me to have the package moved to another location. Avoid if possible, not worth the effort!

I routinely have to pick up UPS shipments at this location and it always makes my blood pressure go up. The store is a complete mess, and the owner makes you feel like a criminal for walking into the store to pick up a package. I don’t know why UPS keeps this location as a pick up spot, but it’s seriously harming their brand.

The man who works behind the counter is the rudest man I’ve ever met. Whenever I have a package to be picked up from here I dread what the confrontation will be. He needs to learn customer service and not only that he needs to learn how to talk to women.

Came upon this store by accident. I was out viewing condos in the area. I was thirsty and wanted something sweet.
This store surprised me. Its more then just a small convenience store. It actually has allot of grocery store items & household cleaning supplies.
They had a big bunch of bananas chilling in a cooler, perfectly ripe. What a great idea! I selected a large one (hehe) and also picked up some Power-​aide (Green Squall !) and some Halls refresh (strawberry)
The guy behind the counter was polite but not overly friendly. Total for all my 3 items was exactly $ 5. I thanked him and left — back on my quest for a new home.
