Muskoka Wood Decks & Fencing

After obtaining a quote and providing a deposit worth more than the cost of the deck, we hired Michael Sorrenti of Muskoka Wood Decks and Fences to build a deck and install fencing. He assured us that we would not need a building permit, as the deck would be under the size limit. The deck was built, but due to city restrictions, the fence installation was held up. An inspector found our deck, and fined us for not having a permit, and we were told there were many code issues that would have to be resolved. After repeated promises from Michael Sorrenti to resolve the issues, we finally hired another contractor to meet the deadline. We cancelled the fence installation, and asked Michael Sorrenti for our remaining deposit to be returned to us. After, once again, many promises from Michael, and countless calls, emails, letters, we still do not have our money back. Poor Workmanship, and low integrity.
