This is the station closest to my home so one of the ones that I use often. It is a nice big outdoor platform. Unfortunately right now it doesn’t have a lot around it. That will change over time as the South Campus of the University of Alberta starts to expand into this area. I really look forward to that time when this area is hustling and bustling with University Students and Staff. As far as the station goes it is a pretty bare bones outdoor platform. It gets the job done. There is an enclosure to stand-in if the weather is too chilly for you.

As silly as this may sound I would have to call South Campus one of my favorite stations. The platform as well as the building to sit and wait for buses in are always kept really clean. I also find it easy to make most of my bus transfers as the buses are quite close to the train compared to some of the other stations. There are some great routes available once you get off the train if your looking to get to the Leger transit center as well as WEM. I find the transit peace officers tend to ignore it in favor of the downtown stations which some may like and others may not. I can honestly say though in three years of using our public transit I have only been stopped for a proof of payment check here once. There are washrooms available over by the buses as well as vending machines. My one and only gripe with this place is the fact the glass shelters to hide from the elements in are not fully enclosed which seems really silly in a city with Winters like ours.
