History
Established in 1989.
In 1989 ‘The Harness Shop’ of the late Ray Cox was purchased by Wayne E Roode and opened in Brookfield N.S. One and a half years later the business moved to Truro at the present location on Ryland ave. and after seventeen years of meeting clients needs and source for equestrian service and supplies the shop grew so much that the new name; Wayne’s Saddlery was chosen to better represent the business.
The shop is now beyond 20 years in business and is still growing more than it was ever imagined when the venture first began. The shop is deceiving from the front but once you walk in it’s huge. Every inch of wall space is filled with horse stuff and overflowing into buckets. We have two floors packed and a section dedicated to our custom leather work and repairs.
