History

Established in 1981.

Warren then pursued a career as a plumber in Calgary, Alberta. In October 1972 he received his Certificate for Plumbing and Gas Fitting and worked for other businesses until December 1975.

Warren was an Inspector/​Conciliator with the New Home Warranty Program in Edmonton, Alberta from January 1976 to May 1977 when he decided to become a service co-​ordinator for Nu West Homes. After about one year in that position he was promoted to Construction Superintendant building approximately 50 homes per year.

In 1980 Warren and his wife Mary started, and operated two successful businesses in Edmonton (Smart Homes Ltd. and Warm Home Insulation Ltd.) until April, 1987 when they decided to move back to Mary’s home town of Trenton. Once in Trenton Warren was hired as General Manager of the housing division for a major commercial business in Trenton building homes in Trenton until June 1990 when the housing industry began to slow down.
