Yogurt Spoon

Yogurt spoon is a great place to fill that void of yogurt in your belly at all times! They are less packed than Menchies and the flavours are on par if not better. Be sure to ask for a small sample cup to see which flavour is your favourite!
The service is great and the cashier is always a very friendly and nice guy. The atmosphere is nice and quiet compared to other yogurt shops around town.
The taro is my personal choice, but the regular and green tea are great too. I love the bobas with my toppings and gummie bears oh my!

I really love the flavours here. It’s not too sweet. :) overall, there is really nothing bad to say about this place.

So many noms had here! Salted caramel my fave, and with a sprinkling of graham cookie crumbs, crushed oreos and almond slivers… NOM.
Only wish they had a FEW more ingredients in the topping bar, like skor bits and more fresh fruit.

The flavours taste artificial. I tried peach (non-​dairy) and it just tastes like a bunch of sugar.

So many flavours :) I’ve been to other self-​serve places but I was really happy that there was a lot of variety plus bobba.

Place looks bright and colorful. The green tea yogurt is so delicious :) mixed with the mango yogurt.

⁵⁄₅ hands down! Taro, lychee, original, greek yogurt, just to name a few of their frozen yogurt! Im loving them!!! I especially like the taro flavour (i think only asians like them). So smooth and the taste is really flavourful! Not like watery stuff u get from other joints! The toppings i like their fresh fruit, kiwi strawberries so fresh!!! Not sure if from frozen if they taste fresh to me, then also the mochi, they r not ice cream mochi just regular chewy type, awesome! Their ‘water bubble’ not sure what you call it but is like a tapioca but filled with liquid! They explode in your mouth!
Also what i like is that the owner is extremely friendly, it was not busy when i walk in. However they dont slack, they kept everything tidy even the napkins you take is nicely put. Honestly even if u dont like frozen yogurt you will like that place and service.
Over all i am satisfied and will come back and try! It is something worth craving for. Before i had this frozen yogurt i ate ramen so this is the perfect cleansing food to clean out the aftertaste from ramen!

I am super fan of yogurt spoon since they opened up. I got addicted to melon, green tea and mango flavored ones and the fresh toppings .SO when I heard the news that they got the yogurt cones I even couldn’t wait to put the new trial on. UNFORTUNATELY, I got picky on the freshness of my cones. Er, I won’t recommend to get cones as it does have a taste of long term storage .Feel sorry! But still super happy with their cup yoghurts! Yay!

Yogurt Spoon is my go-​to frozen yogurt spot. I actually like this place more than Menchies because it offers different flavors from all other frozen yogurt shops that I’ve visited.
My favorite flavor is taro and next would be mango. They have a great variety of toppings! If you’re unsure of what flavor to get, a staff member can assist you by offering samples. The staff are friendly and accommodating.
Make sure to grab yourself a stamp card because you’ll surely be coming back for more!

Located just North East of Yonge and Wellesley (East side on Yonge).
For actual frozen yogurt, this place is TASTY. It is lighter but packs flavour. Hard to explain until you try it.
Concept:
Step 1:
Pour your own Yogurt Flavour. Good idea to mix them. Some of the flavours are quite strong so good to have a decent base of the Original white frozen yogurt.
Step 2:
Add toppings (waffle, sprinkles, oreo bits)
Step 3:
Go to cashier who will weight it, then pay. Mind you, it is somewhat pricey.
The cups they give are large. Filling it just a bit above half way will set you back $ 5. But it is still alot. Makes good for 2 people dessert.
Vibe: quite funky and modern. Normally, I would classify a place like this as too gimmicky or ‘faddy’, but it was actually enjoyable, and vibe was there. Because when you’re in there, as others have mentioned, it feels clean, spacious, fresh.
Good place for a date.

The frozen yogurt here is better than frozen yogurt from the chain stores like Menchies or Yogurty’s. The yogurts here are creamier and less sweet than the chain places. I really appreciate that the froyo here isn’t ultra sweet like other froyo places mentioned since I find super sweet frozen yogurt unappealing.
They cost more than a typical froyo place, but the quality is better, the toppings table has a large variety of candy, fresh fruits and cereals and it is always clean and orderly. They have atypical flavors like lychee and taro which are quite nice.
Overall, I come here if I crave froyo after 6pm or on weekends when my favorite froyo place deKEFIR is closed :(.

Their green tea is the bomb! Get it with popping bobas and you are good to go. Expensive for what it is but I guess all froyo places are like that. Will be back. Ps: love the late hours.

This place is cool and close to work. They have more fruity flavours than the competitors, which does nothing for me, but I’m sure there is an audience that will love that. I’ve had the green tea and the chocolate. Both of which were perfect in flavour. I dream about the green tea one. The yogurt itself has a very slight graininess sometimes but not as bad as I’ve had other places. The toppings selection seems to be a little smaller than some of the other chains and the sauces are in squeeze bottles with three holes which makes it hard to control where that sauce is going. The price is the same as every other frozen yogurt place in the city. I’ll need to go back to try this taro stuff everyone is on about.

Nice and clean! It was my first time visit this place. The staff showed me how their self-​serve service style work, and offered me some free frozen yogurt samples. First you choose the cup size, choose your froyo and then create your own froyo with about 33 kinds of toppings from dry snacks to fresh fruits. Finally, personalize your froyo with their 4 – 6 type of drizzles.
*Note: you’re paying by the weight of your froyo… so it can be expensive

Yogurt Spoon has this super friendly staff! I was greeted with cheers when I walked in this almost empty place on a Sunday evening…
Eager staff asking if I am a first timer. hmm as I looked confused and lost as usual… Then I said oh Self Serve? so he knew I know what I am getting into.
10 fro yo choices on any given day. yes choices makes my head spin… and yes selling by weight makes sure I don’t get carried away!
Ended up I just mixed 3 different flavours of fro yo san toppings. I am not into toppings. but Yogurt Sppon offered here were extensive.

For the 3pm break, we could have gone for a coffee but on a hot day, we decided to walk down for some frozen yogurt.
We were greeted with a friendly hello and a quick explanation of how the place works.
I decided to sample 3 different flavors — mango, coconut and pinepple. Added fresh mango, pineapple and toasted coconut on top. Container weighed in at $ 3.71.
Mango yogurt was sweet and a bit tart. Pineapple and coconut flavors were a bit faint but maybe because they were overshadowed by the mango.
A refreshing afternoon break from the hum-​drum of office.

It’s nice to have a froyo place nearby, rather than having to head to the Annex for my fix.
After passing by the place several times during its construction, I was surprised to see it finally opened. It was too good of an opportunity to pass up after grabbing a late dinner.
It was around 10PM when we got there and it was already packed. We were greeted upon walking in, and the employees did their usual round of inquiring whether we’ve been there before and gave us a little tour of the place. They’ve only got 10 flavours, which at the time were original, chocolate, raspberry, coconut, pineapple, green apple, peach, mango, pink grapefruit, and watermelon. As for the toppings, there are about 30 options to choose from, and a nice selection of fruits, including three different types of «popping balls!»
The process is pretty straightforward, as it is self-​serve and at 45 cents per ounce. There are plenty of employees working (five employees at the time), and service is prompt and pleasant. The only downside is that it is such a small location, with only seating for 12 customers. I think they could definitely add seating by the windows, as there is a ledge for standing or perhaps high chairs. The tables are a bit close together, so the window area wasn’t even an option for us, so we enjoyed our concoctions while walking along Yonge.
I’m definitely gonna be back. What this place has going for them is their convenient location for me, and it’s better selection in fruit flavours and fruit toppings.

Yes! A place finally doing froyo the right way in Toronto.
As I’ve mentioned before in my Juicy Babes review there needs to be a self-​serve place that has CHOICE! I wanted a Yogurt Land or Yogurt World kind of place in Toronto. Well, last Saturday it finally arrived, and mere blocks from my house.
As with most new frozen yogurt places this one also has a bright, clean, and modern look. The colour they brand themselves with is orange, a fresh change from the many places that are choosing various shades of red and pink.
They have 10 choices of fat free delicious for you to choose from. Today’s options were original, chocolate, peach, pineapple, mango, watermelon, raspberry, and more. The toppings are vast. There are 21 «dry» options which include various breakfast cereals, gummies, candy bars, and cookies. The fruit toppings come in 12 options. The fruits are pretty straight forward but the hidden gems are the little juice balls. They kind of look like tapioca balls but they are filled with fruit juice. A must try for sure!
The way this place works is you fill your cup with as much or little yogurt as you want, pile on the toppings, and then pay by weight. It’s 45 cents per ounce, which compared to 33 cents per ounce of it’s California brethren makes it a little pricey but not completely outrageous. For two moderately filled cups, it cost me $ 9.98 including tax.
There were three staff working tonight when I visited. All were friendly. One of the girls was out from behind the counter explaining how the process works to some customers who had never been to a froyo place like this before.
For only being open for a week I was surprised to find about six people ahead of me in line and the staff to be so well prepared and have their process down pat to get the customers through quickly. Great job all around!
I just wish this place had a patio. I know I’m going to be here often and I would love to be able to chill out on a warm summer’s night.
