I enrolled my son (who happens to have anxiety and self confidence issues) in their winter basketball sessions.
When we arrived the first day we sat on a bench and waited for instructions or information. When it became clear that we seem to be overlooked I stood up and tried to get the attention of one of the staff. No one would acknowledge me.
By this time my son started to cry in disappointment, so we left the gym and I went to the info table where we stood, with my son crying, for another 10 minutes ignored without acknowledgement.
we left.
I was refunded for my enrollment fee which I appreciate.
But that does nothing in the way of repairing my son’s broken confidence and disappointment.
