If I could give a negative star I would. Their management is horrible and they treat residents very poorly. And discriminate. I don’t know how they can get away with certain things. They raise the rent but does not keep the place clean or at least give it an upgrade. Place stinks like wet dog. What you see in pictures must have taken 10 – 20 years ago, trust me. What you see in pictures is not the same condition. I am told by other residents to try not to ask to fix things, they will give you a hard time. Isn’t it our right when something is broken down, the landlord is suppose to fix? My refrigerator broke down and it took 2 weeks to be replaced, this was over the summer. I had to throw away hundred dollars worth of food and they did not compensate. Also, they replaced my fridge with a roach infested one. So I kept finding roaches running around or dead INSIDE the fridge and freezer. So disgusting. Any maintenance request takes week or apparently goes missing. I had to submit 3 request yet it still went missing. There’s so many things I can list… Anyway, try to avoid renting any place that involved with Wynn group. I rather pay a bit more than deal with their headache and bullshit. I’m still waiting to get reimburse for my fobs … It’s over a month now and they owe me money. When it comes to them paying residents, takes forever but they jump on you when you don’t pay the rent. What kind of management is this, how do people get away with such poor service. I guess they get paid so shitty that they don’t give a shit about people living in the building. How sad.

Why can’t I give them a zero. By far the worst property management firm in Toronto. I have had the extreme displeasure of living in three of their properties in Parkdale and all have been horrific. Let me give you some quotes from some of letters I received(and the entire building) from the supers: «Please do not let your dog’s urinate in the hallway. Try not to spill your drinks also.» «Do not let strangers in, there have been a series of incidents.» «The garbages are located outside the building, do not throw garbage off your balcony» Comedic gold right? Like any human needs to be told to not let their dog piss in the hallways. Oh wait, I choose to live with Wynn, my bad. Let me just lower my expectations to slightly above homeless. Roaches — yes!(ok, so I know it is hard to avoid in the city, by the water, but still) Bed bugs — yes! Superintendent’s have limited language skills — yes! Dirty — yes! Great if you need a dirt cheap place for a year, but don’t fool yourself into thinking it will get better. And try not to pee in the halls.

I will never again rent from Wynn, and I make sure to tell anyone I know who is looking for an apartment to stay away from their buildings. I had a mediocre experience living in their building on 85 wellesley st. E for the first year that I was there. I never had hot water. My floor was damaged and never fixed. The hallways were never cleaned, the Superintendant was a joke; she never did anything and refused to put the elevators on service for us moving in/out. The fire alarms went off weekly, at 4am. No security; there were always vagrants in the front lobby. All of these things are BEFORE my experience got bad. There is an enormous bedbug problem in this building, and Wynn refused to properly handle it. They spent weeks denying the existence of the pests and then neglected to follow proper procedure for getting rid of them. A recent walk past the building confirms suspicions that the problem is still going on; piles of mattresses by the dumpsters. As we were moving out I had to dodge a lake of urine in the hallways, and I KIDYOUNOT, I discovered from one of the other tenants that a vagrant was living in a secret cubbyhole in the lobby. I gave them about a week short of 2 months notice to get out of there, and instead of giving me a break in light of all I’d had to pay good money to live in, they sued me for two months rent. Slumlords.
