Had an appointment for a cut and colour with Spyros. I guess he’s the owner too? Salon on a Monday afternoon had mostly old ladies getting their weekly wash and sets. Had a consult first and then Spyros went to work. I had told him I wanted to keep my bangs longer and the rest short. He said «let’s see what happens». I guess what happened is that long bangs weren’t for me because he cut them. I could have been mad but I ended up liking the cut. As for the colour I went in with boring flat black hair. We decided to go lighter and redder. Spyros applied a lightener then I waited a while. Then got a rinse and the colour was applied. Had to do it twice because my roots were so light now I looked like a bowl of tiger tail ice cream! Second time the colour looked good. He took me outside to show me the colour. I liked it.
This was kind of a no frills salon. No nice head massage with the wash. Spyros was good if not a little vain with his constant flicking of his own hair. Total was $ 130 with tip. Will probably go back because it’s so close to me.
