Withrow Park is one of those farmer’s markets where you can basically eat or drink everything being sold. That’s my idea of a good market! I went this past Saturday(June 18) and had some good local coffee($ 2 a cup) and a vegan-friendly bagel with local jam($ 1.50) for breakfast. For lunch, I bought some honey garlic sausages($ 5.50 for three) and a wedge of goat’s milk Manchego($ 6.75) with a fresh baked loaf of sourdough bread($ 5.75). Needless to say, everything was fresh and delicious. For those who are interested, the local cheesemongers told me that they’d be offering up a custom batch of WATERBUFFALOICECREAM in about two weeks in July. How can you pass THAT up?
