Finally, a bouncing castle for grown-ups! I’m tired of being kicked out of ones from children’s parties. Even thought it was a gloomy morning, the music, the hype and energy of everyone, it radiated to make it an amazing experience. I’m not a runner and this is probably going to be the only time I can say I did a 5 km, but because everyone was just so pumped and the stops were pretty close to each other at some points, it was easy to push myself to keep going. I also appreciated the water stops they have in between. It would have been cooler if they had more music through out the spots. It just felt like the music were in certain areas so the ones without the music or dj/announcer felt meh. But, I guess because the space is so big, it’s just impossible to play it out like that. I was lucky that our company went there as a corporate event, but I definitely would have paid out of my pocket if I had to. Despite the weather(which the coordinators couldn’t help with), I give it a 5 star because there’s just nothing like it.

Wipeout was a fun way to run 5 km. We were near the tail end of the first wave, so we had to be there for 10am for our 10:30am race. I was really hoping for the weather to be warm and sunny, but it was actually almost the opposite. Cool, windy and rainy. the combination of these and getting wet in the race made it super cold! The announcer was full of energy and put us all in the spirit and motivated us to run. The race itself was broken down pretty well with obstacles evenly spread out. There were 9 obstacles, I found the second one the most difficult, where you had to jump from ball to ball 4 till the other end. The rest of them I thankfully didn’t get wiped out! For those that did get wiped out, everyone had to give them the wipeout salute by pointing and laughing. It was a bit pricey for what it was, I think it should be maybe $ 60⁄70 at most instead of around 100. I think this was a one time experience, and would suggest others to try.

I didn’t know about this run if it wasn’t for Groupon. I thought the price on Groupon was already a bit expensive but I really wanted to try it out. I paid about ~$ 93. There are some additional fees which were: $ 7 insurance, $ 5 day of pick-up, and $ 10 parking. So basically it was $ 100/person. My boyfriend and I ran the 10:30 am wave and had an enjoyable time despite the cold and rain. I’m glad we went in the morning because I don’t want to imagine how dirty the water got towards the afternoon. Registration was fast and the lines went by fast for the obstacle courses. I wish the weather cooperated because we were soaked! The four balls where you had to jump on was very difficult. I bounced off the first ball haha! Would I do it again? I think one time is enough because it was quite pricey!

This was a great fun run! No times, so take it at your own pace. The organizers are friendly, and the obstacles are a blast. If you liked the ball pit or bouncy castle as a kid, you will love this as an adult.

Very, very fun run! Today was a bit cold and windy, so I was skeptical in my little wipeoutrun shirt as I stepped out of the car. As we started the course, we realized this run wouldn’t be as tough as the typical marathon or runs, so we just relaxed with a light jog(and even a bit of walking, but don’t tell) The obstacles were awesome! I think they were very smart to put the dry ones first and the wet ones last– nobody likes running in soggy sneakers. The first few obstacles were typical jumping castles and nothing too special but the obstacles got REALLY awesome after jumping over the wall(which is something I’d never imagine myself ever doing so kudos to me). I LOVED the foamy slip and slide, I slid so far that I went face first into the pile of foam at the end. I also loved the swinging ball crane! That was SUCH a wipeout run move and I thought I was doing so well until my whole body submerged underwater. This run was awesome and it was nice how they ended it off with the long and tall slide. So cold, so wet but totally fun! This run only lost one star because of a small issue that we had where we couldn’t run at the same time after my boyfriend transferred his run over to my best friend after he found out he could no longer run that day. They told me I had to run at 12pm and my BFF had to run at 4pm even though the times were the same before(since we signed up on the same team) … no way we are waiting that long between runs to run alone. Going to be honest, we had to commit a small act of fraud with the stickers to ensure we still had the same running time. Don’t kill me, authorities! It won’t happen again. Overall, I really enjoyed this 5k and it made my daily cardio feel like nothing! Definitely do it again next year.

Overall had a lot of fun. Pros: –few of the obstacles are kind of like wipeout(eg wrecking balls) –fairly well organized. Didn’t take long to check in or drop off or pick up bags –free bag check –staff were all great –running was not too bad because all the breaks –fun –lines are not too long Cons: –water was filthy at the end of the day. It was gross. –big balls was nothing like the show –half of the obstacles are the same… climbing steps and then going down slides –related to the point above not sure why they call this wipeout run. Most of the stuff has nothing to do with the show -$ 5 fee to pick up registration papers day of -$ 10 parking –did I mention the water is gross –no post race stuff like booths Overall took a little over an hour to complete. Didn’t spend much time waiting in lines during the race. There were a lot of people walking I had a discounted price from groupon but I’m rating based on the full price. With the discounted price id give it 4 stars Tip: –there are plenty of opportunities to skip running sections –it’s pretty easy to repeat obstacles if you want
