I’ve been with Wind Mobile for just about 8 months, had problems with my Sony Xperia phone recently. Phone was not charging, wire wiggles once it’s inside the phone port. Under warranty, store agreed to ship it for repair and provide me with a loaner phone till it’s fixed. Now I expected to receive an android phone as my loaner since I have an unlimited talk, text and data plan. Wind Mobile gave me a cheap flip phone, said I have to pay an extra $ 20 to get an android. The fact that I’m paying for a data plan and unable to use any data for about six weeks is ridiculous. It’s comparable to taking your car to the dealership for a warranty repair and they give you a two-wheel bike for a loaner. With my phone breaking down before the warranty expires, I should be accommodated with an adequate phone suitable to my phone plan. If they wanted to piss off a customer, they did a good job with that. Rogers, Bell and Telus have poor customer service, but I expect better from Wind if they want to compete with the big three.
