History
Established in 1986.
Wheels & Wings is a long running hobby shop in the East end of Toronto. The store opened on July 12, 1986 with some 700 kits, two paint lines and a dream. Today we have grown to support over 12’000 model kits, 8 fully stocked paint lines, all the tools you will need to build, accessories, and a large selection of books to base your research on.
We are unique in that we specialize in dealing with plastic model kits only — we do one thing and we try to do it well. You will find that our shelves are not just packed floor to ceiling, but what you see is a large selection of both new and collection kits — we generally only stock 1 or 2 of the same model in our retail area, with extras in the basement warehouse.
