We just used the do it yourself dog wash. First time. Will definitely be back. So friendly and helpful. Great prices.

Bandit and I love visiting Ruth at Wag. I trust all of the food and products in her store. She is knowledgeable and thoroughly researches everything before selling it in her shop.
Wag supports local businesses by carrying their products. It’s nice going into a neighborhood store and feeling confident in what you buy.
My greyhound Bandit loves it too and he is so spoiled there. He pulls me into the shop whenever we pass by.

Probably the friendliest and most knowledgeable staff in town, very fair prices and a local neighbourhood gem. They even have a self wash dog station people can use for a low fee. They have tons of products ranging from dogs to birds, and even offer delivery which is great if you can’t haul that giant bag of dog food home.

So great to have amazing small businesses on the Danforth! The people at Wag are very involved in the community, super nice and really love pets! They promote rescues and even have cat adoption days!
I would highly reccomend Wag to anyone!

The owners go out of their way. They don’t even really specialize in birds but they offered to order me in my bird’s food that otherwise is an extreme hassle for me to purchase in the city.
If my cats are having any sort of problem they have suggestions — Good ones — And they don’t always involve using their products. They’re honest, knowledgeable and an independently owned business so support it!

THE best place to get pet supplies! Ruth and Rob are knowledgeable, personable, and very helpful. I love going there for my cat food. They only sell good quality products that they believe in. I’m so glad they are a part of this neighbourhood! I know I can always count on them to recommend great products.

My husband and I are getting a new puppy and we had went in there to pick up some stuff before the puppy arrives home. The owner has EXTREMELY knowledgeable about all the products she sold. We have to get «special» food for our dog that the breeder recommended, and the owner looked up the ingredients while we were there and reassured us that it was a fantastic food to feed a dog. Never once did she slam it in any way. She also recommended different services such as a trainer and a dog walker. We will be definitely going back here to purchase stuff for our dog!

If you’ve ever bought a big bag of food for your dog/​cat and found they hated it, you will appreciate the tester bags that the owners offer. Their pricing isn’t much if at all different from the big chains, and good luck getting anywhere near the expert product advice you get here. They are very knowledgeable, love animals and there is a dog washing station at the back so you can «do it yourself». The owner will probably pitch in to help you.

The women (i’m sorry forgot name) that owns the place is very knowledgeable about her dog/​cat food and your needs. I have two cats, yes i’m a cat person. I needed a collar for one of ours that constantly loses them from the safety clips on trees and where ever else he comes into trouble. I also wanted custom tags with there names and our phone number. She actually recommended Pet Smart for there pricing, but i would rather give my money to a shop of «mom/​pop» variety. Two bronze tags with a fish engraving, names and numbers was about $ 35 bucks and the state of art collar for Comet who loses it all the time. Love them, the only downfall is that after 3 days Comet the bugger lost it oh but once again. So i will wait a few days to see if i get a call to see if it’s found. The owner also knew her cat feed and provided me free samples of organic cat food and treats. The cats loved it! Will spend the extra money and get a big bag…
For doggies there is a do it yourself bath facility at the back and many hard to find dog/​cat toys/​food and paraphernalia.
I love community businesses, if you don’t use it you will lose it… spend the extra and help the small business man/​women.

I really like Wag. They’re knowledgeable about their products, and they make a point of only selling things they’d be willing to use with their own pets. Their prices are also quite reasonable, and they’re really friendly. In short, it’s pretty much the perfect local pet store.
