Acupuncture can be tremendously effective when repeated frequently. At the typical cost of $ 75 per treatment, it often isn’t possible to get enough acupuncture to see the best results. Our solution is to provide treatments in a group setting, on a sliding scale of $ 15 – 35. You stay as long as you like. The treatment room is quiet, and you only need to remove your socks & shoes, and roll up sleeves/pant legs.
We treat a lot of stress-related issues (insomnia; anxiety; muscular tension; depression; digestive issues); pain disorders (injuries; chronic pain; fibromyalgia, etc.); chronic complaints (allergies; asthma; chronic fatigue; etc.); women’s health issues (painful periods; fertility issues, menopause). You can book online or call 416 405‑8222.
History
Established in 2009.
After practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine for 10 years, Naomi became aware of the growing Community Acupuncture Network. The concept is simple: the acupuncturist sees more patients within the same time and space; the overhead is reduced, treatments are more affordable. More frequent treatments = better results. It’s how they do it in China, where a typical treatment plan requires far more acupuncture than most patients receive here in the West.
In 2009, Naomi Frank established the Roncesvalles Community Acupuncture clinic which continues to operate 4 times a week out of the Herbal Clinic and Dispensary. In 2010 she met Brenna Lewis, and they decided to open a clinic dedicated to community acupuncture.

Business Owner
Naomi and Brenna met while working at the Roncesvalles Community Acupuncture Clinic. They share the goal of making acupuncture available to as many people as possible. This lead to the opening of Toronto Community Acupuncture (ToCA) in October 2011. ToCA’s goal is simple: to make acupuncture accessible and affordable, and to make it easy for patients to get frequent and consistent visits in order to achieve optimal health. In the community acupuncture setting, Naomi and Brenna have witnessed the power of regular acupuncture treatments to initiate healing in people with chronic and complex health issues. Acupuncture is a simple yet powerful medicine. Free of side-effects, it benefits the whole body and brings deep relaxation even as it addresses specific concerns. Our society hasn’t yet begun to see acupuncture’s true potential in healthcare: ToCA — along with the community acupuncture movement — is here to change that.
