I’m getting the sense that Timothy’s is going downhill — the flavours taste very fake and not particularly well made. The seating is tight and it’s lucky that I had found some during the busy Christmas shopping season. I hope the new competition will raise the bar for them. Sad to see a Canadian business go this way.

The staff are SONICE. This is the place I come first thing in the mornings and I am usually SOO confused. I have spilled coffee on myself, on the cash register, on the floor, on the serving station. I have handed the wrong amount of money to the barista — twice in a row. Or handed the cash so that it falls on the floor. I really AM the worst first thing in the morning pre-caffeine. Every time, the staff just smile. TOONICE. That said, this is definitely a to-go location. There are only 2 tables across from the coffee shop. There are more tables away from the café lining the clothing stores, though. And additional seating in the food court downstairs.

I’m actually reviewing from this TImothy’s right now. All told, it’s decent. I’m not a coffee fan and they made me a very nice chai tea. There is a lot of seating which is usually taken up, but for some reason, I didn’t have a problem today. The chairs are comfy, and it’s a nice spot to sit and do some work. Varsity cinema is right above, which makes this a nice meeting spot.
