Second cup with not so great service. Be prepared to get ignored on a not so busy time while barristas talk amongst themselves.

The coffee here is good, especially if you are not planning on hanging around. The big problem here is the space. While the location is primo, the space inside is not. The space is narrow, so if there are more than 2 people waiting there is instant confusion about where the line should go. Also, once you have ordered, you are constantly moving out of someone else’s way. There is limited seating. Unlike Tim Horton’s, which does a masterful job of kicking people out soon after they have paid, this Second Cup does not. Unfortunately, those who like to use coffee shops as their free office space like it here. They don’t notice the other customers who are 90 years old or who have walked in from the rain and just want to sit and actually drink coffee and go. In conclusion, good coffee, but the interior space makes staying or getting an order to go an ordeal.

This was a good place to come and relax to a drink after a visit to the Royal Ontario Museum across the street. It’s a place for a vacationer like me to access free WiFi and use my iPhone. The staff was nice. The one minus is that I ordered a hot apple cider, and instead of using real apple juice(like at cafes I visit back home) they used powder mix.

I ordered a frozen epresso drink. The machine was not working properly at all. The space is on the small side and nothing really stood out to me. I would certainly go else where for any of my future coffee needs.

I had a very decent espresso here, and I was pleased when the barista asked, «short or long?»(If I could give a supplementary half-star for that, I would) It was very close to my hotel and I was pleasantly surprised to learn it’s open until 11pm every night!

I’ve been twice now, and while Second Cup makes a decent latte, their iced coffee is pretty weak, and their pastries are only ok. I’d called it a Starbucks clone, but it’s not quite as good as that!

Friendly second cup location close to the Park Hyatt in Yorkville, come down with your white robes and grab a drink in the morning. Ah this is the life. :) Chocolate banana muffin was fresh and green tea latte done excellent

It’s a coffee place. In Canada. Seems just as good as Starbucks or anything(maybe not as good as Tim Horton’s, which everyone seems to have a rager for around here). It was quite snug, and there really was no room for me to sit. Also, the place where you pick up your drink is by the bathroom, which wasn’t the most pleasant place, to be honest. How come so few reviews, but hecka people go here? Canadia isn’t on the Unilocal wagon yet I guess…

This is a decent Second Cup location, I usually hit it up on my way to work. It’s located just across the street from the ROM next to the Park Hyatt. Caters mainly to the business professionals crowd who work nearby. It’s small and not a lot of seating inside, so best to grab your coffee & go. The morning/afternoon shift is run by the owners, a married couple who are super friendly, remember your name and your usual drink order. I can always count on them to get my coffee quickly when I’m running late for work!
