A great selection of tea but too overpriced when bought for home brewing, although the take away cups are large enough but still on the more expensive side. But overall, a great exposure to different variety of this amazing drink. The variety of green, white and Rooibos tea are quite tasty :-)

Great location that’s accessible from the subway. The seating area provides a useful view of the St. Clair/Yonge intersection; it’s not glamorous but it’s cosy!

So, we went here today for some apple cidiere and some imprompu scones, impressed by their appearance. The drinks were lovely. The scones were shocking at first bite due to the unique density of the corn starch. But they are in fact quite excellent with white chocolate…

Used to really like this location but twice now the(same) barista has been rude to me when ordering. Bought a gift card and rather than handing it to me she gave it a ‘gentle’ toss and it landed in a puddle of water on the counter — really?! After I had the card in hand she started to walk off and I had to remind her that you receive a latte with a gift card purchase. I also hate that they won’t let you pay till they’ve made your drink… I’m standing there holding my money/card when I order and I’d really like to get that done and go find a table while the drink is being made…

I originally went in because I was starving and needed to use the restroom. Pretty standard Second Cup location, however, the washrooms were locked, so make sure you get a key. The lady working was very friendly… they were out of Pumpkin Spice mix for the lattes, so she was able to suggest a yummy alternative(the seasonal Cinnamon Latte) in its place. The tuna wrap was surprisingly delicious! It wasn’t all messed up with too much mayo, and was packed with lots of veggies(carrots, cucumbers, lettuce). It was a pleasant surprise, and I didn’t feel too guilty afterwards. Really, I’d like to give this place 3.5 stars.

Outdoor seating, cleaner than most Starbucks/Second Cups, friendly service. I often exploit their wifi when I’m sitting at Xococava, and for that reason, I feel obliged to give them at least four stars. It’s quiet fast too and they don’t ask you for your Social Security Number or First-Born to access it! The drinks are standard quality, Push-Button machine — woooo! And only Pellegrino, no Perrier — but I doubt most people are as anal about their carbonated water. They tend to play the music a bit loud for it to be condusive to studying or quiet conversation. Oh and I don’t think their bathrooms lock. Or maybe I’m just not very bright. Probably the latter.
