Really awesome ice cream! It’s the only one in liberty village, and it has lots of flavours to choose from! They also have tubs of ice cream to take home too. If you’re in the village you got to check it out

Kawartha dairy ice cream in the heart of Toronto. Win-win scenario. Blueberry cheesecake ice cream was very smooth and left me wanting more.

Let it be known, I’m an ice cream freak. I eat it almost daily during ice cream season. I even stock my own cones at home. I’ve always complained that living in South Parkdale means I’m too far away from my favourite ice cream shops, and there aren’t too many close by. But then The Perfect Scoop opened last summer. And boy, am I grateful. The vibe: Hidden ice cream shop off a side street in Liberty Village. It has a patio, but they haven’t really focused much on vibe or décor. But who the hell cares when there’s ice cream? The food: KAWARTHADAIRYICECREAM. Kawartha Dairy is the bomb. They have plenty of flavours, and great cones too. My go to meal: Moose Tracks in a waffle cone. Secret: They also sell 2L ice cream tubs to go. So if you’re gluttonous like I am, you can have your cone and take some home, too.

Love the kawartha dairy ice cream they have! Prices are in line with what other premium ice cream stores charge. I have a bad feeling they won’t last. The business they can generate in the summer will most likely not be able to sustain them in the winter. It would be nice if they stick around though. PS. Try the dark cherry!
