History

Established in 2000.

I took up DJ’ing as a hobby and out of a sheer love for Electronic music in the late 90’s. I used to frequent a club called System Soundbar, where I accidentally became a monthly resident by being there every Friday. By the time System Soundbar closed in 2005, I wasn’t sure where I wanted to take my DJ’ing. People kept asking me to do their weddings, and I declined because it wasn’t my thing, and because I was primarily a progressive house DJ. The requests didn’t stop coming in and a couple people insisted I DJ at their weddings so I decided the opportunity was impossible to ignore and I’ve been doing it ever since.

Since then I’ve had the opportunity to play at weddings and private events all over the city. I’ve played for corporate clients like Telus, Sears, Herbalife, and The Wine Rack. I still DJ at bars and have DJ’d at places like Souz Dal on College St., The Yukon on Queen West, and Churchill on Dundas West and I hope that the DJ life never ends.

I love music intensely and passionately. I always have and I always will. Over a career of 14 years, I’ve DJ’d in the Toronto club scene, private events, and weddings all over the city. I’m also a trained audio (and studio) technician which brings added value to any event. As a DJ I take great pride in bringing the best possible vibe and customer service to every event. At The Perfect Mix it’s all about providing the best musical experience possible.
