History

Established in 2010.

Emerald previously owned and operated a clothing boutique called Emerald Boutique, located a few doors over from The Perfect Fit by Emerald. Business at the boutique was strongly affected by the recent recession so Emerald decided to do away with retail clothing sales and focus on what she does best; clothing alterations. Emerald is regarded by many as one of the best seamstresses in Toronto. Now she can show case her talents with her new alterations studio which is only two doors over from her old boutique. Emerald did not want to venture too far so as to keep all her current customers within reach.

Emerald learned the seamstress trade from her mother starting at a very young age growing up in Europe. For as long as Emerald can remember sewing was always a part of her life and as a result the passion for her trade shows in the quality of her work. You will not be disappointed when you come to see Emerald!

An experienced European seamstress with over 30 years in the trade. Emerald loves to make people happy and it shows with the fine care she takes in interacting with her customers and their garments. Emerald strives for perfection and she will surely make you feel right at home when you come visit her alterations studio. Most importantly you will leave looking wonderful in your ‘perfectly’ fitted garment :)
