The Original One

The name of this stand is a bit in your face, but the owner is anything but. A bogey in the Market 707 food train, this place sells a host of liquids in different but mostly asian avatars: tea, bubble tea, and shakes. There is solid food to be had too in the form of dim sum. The liquids menu is a bit hard to read, because of the jamboree of colors, pictures, fonts and overall information overload. I usually like my bubble tea taro so I ordered that and waited. I was entertained by quite the show; didn’t realize that making bubble tea required so much organization. There was a lot of frenzied activity to produce cool taro solace on a warm summer day. Just what the doctor had ordered.
