History

Established in 2014.

The Lucky Penny is a General Store and Café with great coffee, sandwiches, salads and pastries, plus a nice selection of groceries including local and organic produce, dairy, deli, dry goods, frozen food and sundry items. Seasonal gifts and cards and specialty items with a focus on local, artisanal, handmade, fair trade. Originally a Confectionary in 1934 the building fell into disrepair until it was resurrected as The Lucky Penny, which opened in January 2014.
