Seriously impressed with the service here! I walked in with my friend while browsing the mall and asked for a wash, cut, and style. I had a separate person to wash my hair and give a great scalp massage while the stylist was finishing up with another client. All the staff here really care, there was a check to make sure I wasn’t waiting too long, I sure didn’t mind an extra minute of massage. The stylist was great! Alauna (sp?) She was quick and with her expertise and my not really knowing what I wanted, it came out very nicely! I will be back for my summer highlights and I highly recommend.
Should add my friend’s hair looked fabulous too, did really nice curls for her to walk out with and we were finished roughly the same time. :)

Very extremely disappointed. Went to get a set put on. The inexperienced nail tech who took over four hours to put them on was rude and annoying, acting like she was doing you a favour. To make things worse the nails were all crooked and bumpy and the design she did was terrible. My five year old sister I don’t have would have done better. The prices were ridiculous I was quoted 25, but the nail tech made a mistake and didn’t know what a gel set was and started a manicure first and than charged me for both. I go back the next day. I complain. She fixed it. They were still terrible but looked a bit better. With 10 minutes two nails cracked off. Never go here looking to get your nails done. The nail tech is so inexperienced she laughs when she makes mistakes and says she’s trying her hardest I appreciate that but you can’t charge the prices you did. As well she sat there talking to her friend how they are going to go out and get drunk that night. Extremely disappointed. Wanted to try out other services but will no longer do that.

I walked in here and have been a regular ever since, I get fantastic barber style cuts from an older gentleman named Pepito. He really does a great and very thorough job, at a reasonable price. Ever since he gave me a haircut, I can no longer go back to my usual barber. If you’re a man, ask for Pepito! Also, the owner always seems quite jovial and happy, which is nice.
The only reason this place got 3 stars instead of 5 from me, is because of the young lady who works the front desk, I believe she is the daughter of the owner. She has absolutely no conception of customer service. If it was one time, I would understand, but I have been there numerous times, both in person and on the phone, she can be downright rude. It seems as though she would much rather be somewhere else, and anything is a hassle for her. I’ve literally never heard her say thank you to a customer once.

The best hair salon im a big fan of this place ive done colour style cut and wverything was done just the way i asked them too even better. I like the fact that the salon is huge and they always have time for you very clean very clean. Great job

I went in randomly and got a great cut. Leila did everything right. I will be going back.

For the love of your hair, please DO NOT GO into this place!!! Venture far and STEER CLEAR!!! You’ve been warned!!! I was browsing a few locations for make up and hair for a family wedding the next day. Due to time constraint and schedule particularly traveling out of town with a baby, I found it easier to pay to get it done. I was greeted by one of the female staff (who most likely works on nails, eyebrows, etc.) And immediately, she asked if I was looking for any particular service. I asked if they could do hair styling for my length since I had a short crop up to mid neck. She confirmed with another associate who said they could do a wash and blow in addition to making the hair wavy. On the day of the appointment, I arrived on time to be reassigned me to another associate to wash and blow dry my hair. Once that was done, the lady who was originally assigned to do the hairstyling came back to use a fine comb brush to tease the ends of the hair. And, I could tell it was going to be a disaster, she continued to apply massive amounts of hairspray. By the time she was done, I looked like one of the ladies on Broadway’s Hairspray. And from the glances of her co workers, they knew that the hair had gone wrong.
It should had been a red flag to run but Hub need a haircut. And, it just went downhill from there. The male stylist that was assigned to him completely butchered his hair. He asked for a trim similar to a crew cut on top. Instead, the stylist completely shaved his whole head off. From the looks of it, not only are the staff untrained but appears to be unlicensed. Not sure how Toronto’s regulations are in terms of license for hair styling but def it would had not had fly in NY. Needless to say, we were miserable and unhappy with their services. And we had even told the guy in the front desk that we were speechless. Once we got ready to go, another lady had a blow out. I could tell that she was pissed since 3 hair stylists stood by helplessly to remedy the situation. It looks like another hairdo gone wrong! You’re better off with the walk in service salon across from them.

Two lovely ladies and I wished to partake in a girls day. Of course, after calling around, we found a place that would accommodate three people at once. This was a specific request and had already rejected two spas because they could not take us all at the same time.
Not to mention the $ 35 mani/​pedi price. This was going to be great.
We arrived and was greeted by a jovial front deskman. He told us to «go on in». With no direction, we headed towards the grotto located at the back of the store. We stood awkwardly to the side, waiting for someone to show us the way.
We get in to a room with three of those awesome chairs. We sit down and take our shoes off. Two ladies come in to the room and get their stations ready. We all looked at each other awkwardly until about a third of the way into their treatment, I got up and left. On the way out, I complained to the man at the desk. He said that there were three girls back there for the three treatments. I explained that no one had come for my treatment and he tried to convince me that she was back there. After I went back and had a seat, (and by this time, my MIL and SIL were already more than half way done their treatments) and a few minutes later, a woman came scurrying along with a cheap stool and a towel. This was very much unlike the two other ladies, both of whom had full stools with bins of equipment — My lady had a towel and what looked like a cheap stool that they had grabbed from the garbage.
Needless to say: I wasn’t happy.
My attendant was great and had a great attitude — She really knew what she was doing. She was not at fault for this, and I understand that.
Essentially, after the manicure section, my MIL and SIL had to wait 15 minutes for me to be finished after them.
I will never return. I’d rather pay a higher price than return to these bum-​hamsters.
