The Ballet

I went there on Tuesday night and the place was lit as if it was a Friday. I never expected so many people going up on a Tuesday — guest Drake was right.
The décor is pretty nice, and the music is good. I dont know if it’s because it was a hip-​hop night, or the fact that I look like a white Gucci Mane, but you should expect to get patted down like when you visit your migos in jail.

Check this place out if you are in the mood for a nightclub yet don’t want to schlep downtown. It’s on Ossington just south of Dundas across the street from the Painted Lady. Friendly door guy and no lineups. Plus it’s clean and tidy. Nice décor too. The front room has seating around the perimeter with plenty of space for dancing. Then there’s a gorgeous marble bar and further back a stage! Wow, live acts too with booths and bottle service directly in front, nicely elevated so you can sit there and see the show even with people dancing in front. Live rap was going on when we were there with sweet poetry, beatboxing and an excellent DJ in between performances. At the rear there is another small bar and behind that the washrooms. Another reason to love the Ossiington strip.
