Pets need dental care, too. Over 85% of all dogs and cats over 1 year old have some degree of periodontal disease, and this bacteria can spread through the bloodstream and seriously affect internal organs. Along with regular, professional care by a veterinarian, daily brushing & nutrition can help your pet maintain positive oral health.
During the month of February veterinarians across Canada are celebrating National Pet Dental Health Month, and The Animal Clinic would like to invite you and your pet to come in for a Dental Health Exam.
We will help you to assess your pet’s dental needs, offer handy tips and advice, and demonstrate home dental care techniques — we’ll even send you home with a pet friendly toothbrush and toothpaste sample to get you started.
Our veterinary health care services include digital radiography, dentistry, and surgery as well as anaesthetic and vital signs monitoring by registered technicians. Call us today for an appointment!
