History

Lance Carey Talbot was called to the Ontario Bar in 1994 and admitted to the Roll as an English Solicitor in 2002. He practises exclusively in the areas of Criminal and Family law. Legal Aid is accepted for all cases. In the area of Criminal Law, Lance Carey Talbot’s history is practising with a particular interest in three particular areas: Defending young persons charged under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, adults charged with drinking and driving offences and adults or young persons charged with sexual offences. Of course, Lance Carey Talbot has a good history of providing sound and thoughtful legal advice for all criminal matters including manslaughter, assault causing bodily harm, drug possession and trafficking, fraud, conspiracy, weapons-related offences and all property offences including theft and possession of property over and under $ 5,000.

Lance Carey Talbot practises exclusively in the areas of Criminal and Family law. Legal Aid is accepted for all cases. For private clients in criminal matters, a block fee is charged so that clients know in advance what they will pay for their legal defence barring any unforeseen circumstances or difficult legal complications. An initial retainer would be required followed by a mutually agreed upon payment schedule. For private clients in family law matters, a modest retainer would be required based on a reasonable hourly rate followed by an easy payment schedule during the course of the resolution of the family law matter.
